Did you turn the bearings where the balance shafts were so that it blocked the oiling holes?

Why do you want to rev to 10k? You will be past the efficiency of the turbo, and probably out of the efficiency range of the cams you are going to run. You go fast by staying in the powerband, not by revving out your motor to high rpms.

telling you the abbreviation wont help any, manifold absolute pressure aka mdp or manifold differential pressure. Its a way to accurately read boost. Is it spiking to 14 then coming down or holding 14?

Gauges are usually off by a few psi. You need a map sensor to log to know if it is really running that much boost.

With some modification the parts will fit as far as the body stuff. As for other parts they are all interchangeable, but only non-turbo parts on non-turbo cars.

On the other thread it says that he does not use overdrive. Tach showed 8500 rpms or so when it crossed the finish line although he said the tach was not quite accurate. He said at 150-155 on the dyno it was about 9500 rpms.

sorry im a day behind, the red wire with blue stripe is the power wire for the reverse lights.

The radio fuse is also what gives the diagnostic port its full 5 volts. Unplug your radio fuse and see if dsmlink works. MANY cars have their diagnostic port powered by the same fuse as the radio fuse.

Want to bet on that? Mine gave the exact same error and thats what it was.

Just solder them together nicely. You will be highly surprised and what all you are going to have to redo to replace the whole wire. You will end up splicing them anyways.

Check the radio fuse under the hood.

I have a BJ's intake manifold and I am looking at upgrade to a new throttle body. I know the opening on it is only 60mm but from the looks of things it could be opened up to just over 80 if necessary. There are two different bolt patterns on the flange, one is for a regular mitsu throttle body...
