You will be washing your oil down with gas and thinning it out .... you will need to do an oil change ASAP when you get this fixed.

Unless he has a 6 bolt head with that style of adjustable CAS (1G) the timing is fixed and non adjustable. I have a 6 bolt head with a 97 style CAS and timing is not adjustable with it.

Did you place the CAS trigger plate back on the end of the cam in the right phase?
