    I ordered up the blue Magstars from work yesterday, they came in today and appear to be of pretty good quality. As for performance I wont know till this summer when the car is done. Dont wanna punish the baby here in the winter.

    the 70 is at idle im not quite sure what it is under full boost i know the car needs a new iac motor so the idle is rough maybe the car needs a good tuning.

    Allan if I had a helmet to give you I would because Im starting to think you need one pretty bad. If you did your research the Evo I-III has a similar set up to the 7bolt 2g with a few minor differences. Evo 4-8 so far are all flipped around and sit like the 420A.

    Not all JDM blocks are 6 bolt. The Evo 1-3 are 7bolt cranks therefore he was referring to an Evo 3.

    Your 2g head will drop right onto your Evo 3 block. While your at it you might as well put in some ARP head studs. Any upgrades you plan on doing just look for 2g parts. If you want EVO 3 specific parts a couple companies you might wanna check JUN or Toda racing.

    The Evo I-III will work in the 2g Eclipse. If you notice the IV-VIII are all 180 degree different with the turbo and intake on the opposite side. I actually found the engine down here in St. Augustine, It was kinda weird I actually stumbled into it when I was lookin for the jdm 6bolt

    They appear to be the same but the jdm 7bolt and usdm 7 bolt are different! Not only are the cam position sensors different but also the specs. A 2g GST or GSX come with 210 hp while a EVO 3 engine comes with 270 hp stock thats right 270 hp I would say thats quite a bit of an increase. Someone...
