Here's mine, I got it because Rocko's Modern Life is the cartoon show that really got me hooked on cartoons. Got it about 4 years ago and still love it :D
Psh, stock 6 bolt short block is like $1500 from SBR http://www.slowboyracing.com/shop.php?sid=&cat=50Buschur is like $2000

People are saying that because you don't lift off the gas to shift, a chipped car with "No lift to shift" will be the same. But, you'll still want a BOV to vent the pressure when you finally lift once you reach speed.
That's all your going to find. I've never, ever seen a full A-pillar pod for a 1G, just 2G.If you don't want a cheesy A-pillar, do what I did in my latest Talon, get the 3 pod bezel that replaces the center vents, and add 2-3 more gauges in the spare DIN slot by your radio if you still need...
Join the yahoo group WIDSM. Meet the real Wisconsin DSM group. We drink, play Xbox, shoot paintball guns, get freaked out by flying squirrels, and sometimes even remember we brought our cars and should go do something with them.
And you only need the laptop to make changes, it saves all your changes on the EPROM so you can drive around with all your settings and no laptop within a mile of your car.
I (/we) up here in WI do it all the time in the snow. It's really fun when you can get the car spinning right so it doesn't move and just spins on its axis :D
It's another gear. Automatics have gears just like a manual, 1,2,3,4. (L,2,D,OD)Since you seem do have no idea what you're doing, leave your car in D with the overdrive switch on. Else you'll be back here in a week wondering why your transmission is making noise.
I think you've got other issues. I've had 450's, 14b, and M/T cams in my car since last fall (swapped in the 6 bolt from my '90 5 speed) with the A/T ECU, I consistently got 26-27 MPG. In March I put in the MT ECU, I couldn't really tell a difference, and I still got 26-27 MPG a tank.
And my 1990 had the ECU replaced in 2001, it's an EPROM ECU. So I'd also be willing to bet any ECU replacements made after original stock ran out, (1995ish, prolly) are all EPROMS ECU's, so they could burn the chip for you car.
What I've heard on NASIOC and from some other WRX owners, is that the STi doesn't have this problem nearly as much, because it has a better trans mount that reduces flex. I think it only costs like $80, and is supposed to be a direct bolt-in for the WRX trans.
yea, I've got a '93 auto AWD, and my trans would shift and act fine even when it was -15*f. It always shifts nice and crisp, never clunks, never slips. Best automatic trans I've ever driven.
Mine's in the dash, putting the siren inside the car makes it much more effective. They're much less likely to steal your shit if a 130 dB siren is blaring in their ear (this assumes you install everything the right way so they can't jack it in 30 seconds or less)
:rolleyes:If we're going to try and figure out why your car won't start, knowing everything you did is a big help. That said, since you apparently don't really know what you did for wiring, check and make sure the neutral safety switch is grounded out.
This mod isn't for those stupid "sleepy eyes", it's so your pop-ups don't always come up when you turn on the headlights, so you can turn them on and they'll shine through the clear lense (like they're pictured doing on the '90 Talon factory brochure)
Some time with a hammer, some bondo, and some paint, you'll be on your way.If you find a good shop they can make it look good. My old Lumina's roof got smoked by a pole on the delivery truck, I didn't know that my roof has been owned up on until I pulled the headliner to put in a sunroof.
They'll fit in there. The 1Gb outside taillight sections have a small flaring on the inner bottom that the 1Ga taillights don't have, and I think the wiring is different.
lots. Look under the hood of a 90 and see where the throttle cables goes, then look under the hood of a '91 and see how much better the throttle cable routing is.
double post lol.join the yahoo group WIDSM ,lots of people with parts cars on there who will bring parts to meets, rarely will people haul parts to meets if they don't have someone for them.
I went to my first meet last august, and I didn't even bring my DSM, I drove my 1988 Crown Victoria. I had a blast, met a lot of cool people, saw some cool DSM's, and drank a lot of beer.
Make sure you take it out when the car's hot, go beat the piss out of it for awhile. But, you may end up stripping it anyways, when I took the O2 sensor out of a '90 in 2002, it was in there so good the threads stayed in the housing, but I got the sensor out./good excuse to upgrade to 2G...
Did you re-tension the belt, or just change it? Typically you have to re-tension it after a couple hundred miles because the belt stretches a little from use.
