A local buddy (and tuner/mechanic of Strictly Modified) daily drives his 9 second 2g Talon, and I REALLY mean daily drives. He ran a 9.59 on E85 and Q16, breaking the 35r record, but 9.90's on straight E85 and ~38-40psi as he does everyday to work. It's 100% street legal, uses DOT legal Nitto...

For exhaust leaks around that area, I usually wait till the car has cooled down several hours later, and then start it up and feel around for leaks. You should be able to feel heat coming out, make sure the fans are turned off.

I recommend Link and AT LEAST a set of 750cc injectors. You are FWD, so to run good times you will need a set of super sticky tires and a good amount of suspension modifications.
