ok so as the title states I need to know what a safe boost level would be for a t28 on a stock fuel system. I know i need the supporting mods and all that but my t25 took a crap on me and i needed a replacement. My car hit 15 psi easy on the t25 so can an i just let it run under the stock boost...
basically you have to install your knob and boot together onto the shifter. take the shift boot bracket off the console and install it on the boot and knob. Then lower your console back over the shifter and screw the bracket back onto the underside of the console.
the situation is this. Recently when sitting at idle I see my stock coolant temp gauge rise to about 3/4 the way to the top. As long as i've had the car it never rose past half way and stayed steady. So now now i step on the gas and raise the rpm's and the temp's immediately start to go down. Im...
2700 is way too much for the first tsi for sure. the second one potentially cause the tranny being bad gives you an opportunity to get a brand new fully built unit
and thats an RS in the picture thats an even lower model. Just for the fact hes lying to you about what model it is forget that $hit cause its just asking for trouble.
boost is definately not boost. Bigger turbos might produce the same boost pressure as smaller ones but will flow signifigantly more air at that same psi
when the car is running if your not seeing around 14 volts you more then likely have an alternator problem. When the alternator goes bad and the car is running off the battery many of the gauge cluster lights will come on due to the cars various sensors not getting proper voltage. As you keep...
the reason the kaminari wing is rice on a dsm is because in my opinion it flows very poorly with the cars factory body lines and would seem greatly out of plase. where as the factory turbo wing looks like it just belongs there .
those rims with that low profile of a tire are asking for trouble in the tri-state. Get yourself some factory 17's with a 235/45 tire and keep it moving
thats a very good choice as most people on here will tell you. I would also consider a Big T-28 as well due to it being a direct bolt on affair with near identical potential as the E316g
I want back the 2 minutes of my life i wasted reading this thread. Your a thief you stole my 2 minutes. im so putting this guys name on my "to be killed" list
2ga eclipse headlights are the same as any 2g talon. the 2gb eclipse is the only one that ever got different headlights. And do that swap cause that shit is sex
check for exhaust leaks before the turbo in any of the gaskets. I put on a FP big t-28 like 2 months ago and boosted and spooled perfect and a week ago i started to lose more and more boost and gain more and more exhaust noise. Turns out the gasket between the turbo and manifold went to shit
