sold my last dsm(95 talon tsi) but had a 4g63 powered 89 mirage gt, now i have a 95 talon tsi awd. picked it up for $300 with a broke timing belt that valves went thru the pistons. time to clean her up get me a evo 3 jdm motor and put her back on the road.:hellyeah::thumb:
it's been awhile since i owned a dsm(2005) looking to get back into one. had the mirage and colt by far pound4pound faster than a dsm but overall dsms are better. now with that being said i'm looking for a shell a 2g or 1gb. help a brother out:thumb:

i can get this tranny 2.0 n/t version for $50, it works, just wondering if i can use it. it's going into my project colt, because i'm having a hard time finding a 2.0 turbo tranny. btw i'm a 2g guy and i know i can't use a 2g n/t tranny :nono: ta :talon: lon
i have an extra motor and planning on getting it rebuilt. is better to install the kit before i take it in for the rebuilt????? i just got the kit today and this weekend i pretty free to work on my motor.
i want this to be my race/project car. how hard is it to put a 4g63 in it, i will have the money. i just want to know how much i'm going to spend. btw the body is in good shape only thing is it needs a fuel pump, which is no biggie because i'm going to change it when i do the swap. ta :talon...
well i order a small 16g from a certain company that i will not name. well the turbo came in and it looked like a evo 3 16g. here's the part number on the housing 49178-01470 and the number above it is 040724059. can someone tell if i got more than what i paid for ta :talon: lon :thumb:
well i'm about to upgrade from my 14b, and i need some inputs on both turbos. i'll be running 550's, safc and greddy 24r fmic, all the rest of my mods are in my profile. let me know which one you'll put on and why, thanks :talon:
this my first 1g b.o.v and when i hit 17 psi and above my car gets fuelcut. a friend of said i had a boost leak around the flange that bought from dejon, so he apoxy the hell of of the flange. still has the problem, my question is if the b.o.v has problems holding the boost will it cause...
i installed my 14b yesterday, my j-pipe does not have the nipple for i can tee it off my wastegate acuator. is there anywhere else i can tee it off :confused:
i'm finally done with the 1g head swap and i went to start my car. nothing :cry: i've done the following: jump the clutch switch, tested my starter, and i know the ignition works because the fuel pump comes on. is there anything else i can look at, so i can get my car on the road. you guys seem...
i have the head installed and i'm running my wires. here's the problem: i don't have the resources to do the map sensor on my intake manifold, is there any other options to do with it. second i have alot of plugs left over, is it suppose to be like that :confused:
i'm doing the 1g head swap and i have arp head studs. i have a 98 gst and the bolts will not go in the block. do you have to get the studs for a 94-99 block????? let me know beacause i'm ready to put my car on the road.
