sold my last dsm(95 talon tsi) but had a 4g63 powered 89 mirage gt, now i have a 95 talon tsi awd. picked it up for $300 with a broke timing belt that valves went thru the pistons. time to clean her up get me a evo 3 jdm motor and put her back on the road.:hellyeah::thumb:

yeah i was about to say blue smoke is not good. when i blew the headgasket in mirage it was white and i could still drive on hot days but if it was cold no luck lol. i would fix it man but i have my own project going

imo that's the biggest waste of money to put a 4g in a civic, when the mirage is amuch easy swap. i mean why not do an awd mirage???

i've been planning to run an all motor colt for a year now. i've been planning out what i'm going to do and looks like a good idea. i think all motor in a dsm chassis is kinda pointless especially with the weight of them. my gutted turbo mirage weighs 1900lbs

if you have a 93-96 then the mirage forums is your best bet, because the 4g61t.org is mainly for the 89-92 csm.

dude if you have the 1.8 then do the 4g63 swap. that tranny is a pretty good and the swap is easy. if it's winter car you don't need the a/c:thumb:

i thought he meant number of bolts on the oil pan, my bad. i know the shape of the oil pan is different between the two motors, but both has the same number of bolts. trust me i've been working on these cars since 97 and i misread what he said.
