I don't know if this is the exact right thing to do or anything, but when I did my 1G head swap on my 2G, I used my 2G caps because we got the caps on the 1G screwed up. We also used 2G cams too. I don't know if that helps you at all.

I'd actually say go for a 3G Eclipse. I think they look pretty nice and my roommate has one and they are dececntly quick(V6 anyhow) and ride good. Also, most of them come with the autostick and you can find a real nice one, atleast in my area, for about 8-9k. Get a Black or Pearl white one...

Well, since you've already done everything for the 6 bolt swap and you are going to have to most likely get both engines rebuilt either way, I would just stick with the 6 bolt swap. Or, you could stick the 7 bolt in there until it goes bad, and have the 6 bolt lying around waiting to be put in.
