from what i understand, you don't lose oil pressure if you leave the front bs in. you lose oil pressure if you take it out and don't turn or replace the bearings to block the holes.if you leave it in, the front bs itself will block the holes.

The one I got for FWD about a month ago was the same. it came in 2 segments. One with the muffler welded to pipe that goes over the rear axle (polished). the remaining part that goes to the cat wasn't.
