I've got the same Fan but for a 1G. I've had it about a year and the Driver side fan finally quit working yesterday. Looks like it can't take the heat from the turbine housing. Might get yourself some heat wrap or turbo blanket.

The 500whp HX35 is me, I actually fixed a decent boost leak I had that dyno day and now see 35 psi by 3800-3900 rpm. It spools very fast. I need to mount my Hero camera and take a video of boost and rpm and post it up. HP and torque jump so quick the poor tires cant hang on, and I'm AWD.

So far I have run 35psi on my 7 blade HX35 still making more power. Actually going from 30psi up to 35psi it really woke up, felt so much better. I dont have any airflow numbers between the two but made 494/466 on a mustang dyno at 35psi.If the motor can handle 35psi I'd try it out. I'm at 98%...

Be careful grinding the block there, it is very thin. Maybe some Radiator hose and thermo wrap insulation sleeves might do the trick. I've got the 90 housing so I dont have that problem.

The 2600lb pressure plate should be fine, but use the 6 puck disk. I just dynoed mine on a street disk with 2600lb pressure plate and it started slipping at 5800. HX35 made 494hp 466tq before it slipped. The 2600/street disk combo is supposed only good for 412ft lbs according to ACT's website...
