I need some help finding a blacktop CAS plug urgently today. If anyone has one, I am willing to go and pick it up today. Only part needed before I can fire the car so I appreciate the help in advance. If you have one, please text Edwin at 925-788-5551
I have a set of used Crower Valve Springs & Titanium Retainers. These came off of my 1g and have about 10k miles on them. Last paired with a set of HKS 280 cams (also up for sale).$150 obo. Can be picked up in the east or south bay.
I have two 1g wheels, one from a 92+ talon and one from a 90-91 talon. Both wheels are in good condition and taking up space.Wheels are located in San Ramon. Text me if you would like them (925)788-5551-Edwin
Yeah, had a couple days over Thanksgiving to work on the car, still a long ways from being complete.I really just want an ISC connector, but would buy a full harness if it is cheap for a spare
Like the title says, I am looking for a 1G Turbo engine harness so pull some sensors off. Interested in a full harness or specific connectors if you are willing to part with them. Thanks.
Lets do the 29th. I'll be home for spring break then.Looks like a bunch of new people on the forums these days, I'd like to see what all you guys are running. Hopefully something big and with plenty of boost!
Usually we plan for a Stinson Beach meet during the summer. It's happened for about 8 years or so? I think last year was the first time we stopped in a while. To the OG guys. I got something in store for you guys if we have a meet this summer. I've made some "upgrades" to the car. :sneaky:
I just glanced over at your guide. I may be mistaken, but if I remember correctly, the european targa edition did not come with the widebody. I used to have a link to the manufacturer's site that made the aftermarket widebody.
I would run the 17x9 +43 in the front and the 17x9 +35 in the rear if you want a more flush setup. The fronts should have no problem clearing 3kgt brakes up front, as they fit with evo8 wheels which are 17x8 +38 if i remember correctly.
Ok, just a couple suggestions.Mainly, you need to work on your writing skills. I can't understand a word you're saying. First you say its a non turbo, then you say you put your gs turbo. Clarify that. And then basically you tell us that you have all this stuff you don't really...
first off, what turbo do you have that requires a larger intake manifoldsecondly, do you have the supporting mods for this setupthird, what dealership do you know that can flash a stock ecufourth...time to do some research
let me be the first to say, there will never be a big dsm presence at any event, because everyone is a flake. that plus everyone's car is always down for upgrades.theres a couple of us in San Ramon, the local shop is Full Function in union city, the meets vary depending on the type of crowd...
Nice, everyone is going twin plate now. I got a QM on the way, Devo Tuning is taking forever with it though. Hopefully I can get this setup together in time for Fontana.
Panning is one way to do it, but it is pretty tough to have the shots come out clean. But then again, I haven't tried it too much. The more common way that it is done, especially for magazine shoots and whatnot, is using a rig to fix the camera at a specific location on or around the car...
They make the Nitto 555R in a 245/45/17. I could friends have them on their evos and have been pretty successful so far. But yes, ideally you would want them on a smaller wheel
No, I don't have EVO8 wheels. I want to throw some MT Drag Radials in 255/50/16 on my Kosei K1 that I have. But I also want Bias Plys...decisions decisionsI only have 1 transmission left to sell...sold off 2 this past weekend!
We decided to go a diff route with the manifold, so it is being totally redesigned. The goal is still to get the car running and racing at BOTI Fontana, we'll see how that goesForget street tires, get drag radials!
DAYM! the secret is out. hahahhaI raced my mommy's car vs a c5 the other day. Nose to nose up to 130mph (of course that was on the track...) I like my mommy's car. It does donuts really easily :D
The 5zigen will be right about the same, with the rotas sticking out just a mm or two more than they 5 zigen will. Thats just wheels dimensions of course
I spent my day getting my rolling chassis ready to sell, and it sold! And then I spent the rest of the day waiting for a tow truck to come so I could get the car to FFTEC and start ripping it apart more =]
If you want a 75mm TB, I would go with the Full Function one. They have modified them to have all the provisions to bolt onto our cars including the shift cable pulley, shaft seals, upgraded spring, and even an ISC adapter. Full Function: Home
Really simply....the stance your car has is not aggressive. Then again, it's a N/T, so it does not need to be. I just want to show you want an aggressive stance is so you know in the future. The pic in my avatar is 2 years old. Here's my car.
