well i'm about to finish my AIT in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, i've just found out that i'm goin to ft. hood. which is either 4th I.D. or 1st Cav. kinda happy but not too sure if i'm gonna like the climate change... anybody got an opinion on this?

i said that with wishful thinking but i'll prolly be back within a year... i'm a 63h track vehicle repairer.

having to put up with the screw-ups will be a huge pain, but i'm only enlisted for 3 years. Just as long as they dont call me back during my 5 reserve years i think i'll be able to stomach them.

my ait is at apg so i think all i missed at basic, I'll be informed on when i get there... prolly the hard way but its arright. i found out that if you dont go in with dicipline, you wont be leaving with it either. its kinda sad but knowing most of those people that needed the dicipline wont...

while i was away for basic, my brother ran into some engine problems with his civic. i believe he threw a rod. anybody here know where i could find a cheap 1.6L v-tech motor for a 1998 civic? i've tried looking and have had bad luck. thanks in advance fellas.

are the 1.8's really that slow? my brother toasted one while leaving our local Taco Bell? sounded kinda "modded" (intake exhaust etc.) 5spd and it was recently rebuilt. my brothers 1998 civic ex is stock with a system and its auto... same size motor but the civic toasted it. :confused:

thats what i thought... i was thinking of going national gaurd before i was supposed to ship. everybody said that i'd get into trouble. i asked somebody up at MEPS if that was true and they told me no... if i get dicked around one more time i'm signing wut national gaurd or another branch.

the leaking is typical with any older car that has a removable top of any sort... just my 2 cents...

i saw a gs with an intercooler-like intake... didnt look too bad and got the job done... but i would've went for a turbo instead...
