I can assure you that you're wrong. All of our cores are genuine Spearco, if you want me to crack out the invoices and packing slips I can do that for the last 4 years. I have seen my products copied over the past few years by SSAC.
I would appreciate it if you would stop the lies about my company. If you have a problem with my business and think we don't manufacture our own parts in house, I invite you to stop on by and check it out for yourself.
Amazingly enough and most of you probably won't believe this, but the only Turbonetics failures we see are on DSMs. Come to think of it, I'm trying to think of the last custom assembled Garrett turbo that failed on a non DSM.Another thing to understand is that you're only going to hear...
There seem to be a few issues that I need to address here so everyone is at ease.1. Oil drain issue: All of our oil drain line kits are made in a jig, the same jig that we've been using for years. I double and triple checked the jig last night and there is absolutely no problem with the...
We took the kit off the site because we're doing a little somthing special regarding the manifold. The kit has been changed to a stainless steel equal length manifold with a 4:1 collector.Give it a few weeks and you'll see the product release along with a "Featured Product" up above. ^^^
We use the New Gen wastegates all the time on some of our V8 sand rail applications. It's a great wastegate, but it is very large physically. It's hard to fit into tight spaces and is quite expensive.
Please keep my company's name out of your defense for another company, and don't ever use my name or company's name to sell your products. You are not one of my customers or dealers, so you don't have any right to associate yourself with me or AGP.
Oh and for the turbo guru that said Master Power CHRAs are Garrett or "just like Garrett" is wrong. You can't use a Garrett or Garrett based thrust setup in a Master Power turbo. The copied an old Schwitzer S2B thrust. I've been throwing these things away lately as they seem to never last...
I spoke to Keith at Turbotrix who has installed many of our turbo kits with the BR style FMIC setups. He's NEVER had a clearance problem with our dump tube. He mentioned that it all depends on how far back towards the core support you choose to mount the IC core.
Keep in mind, we make these as universal as we can. Some company's IC pipe setups may not fit with our dump tubes. We cannot control that. We are working on our own 1G FMIC setup that will work in conjunction with our turbo kit.
It's not a split T4 flange. It's a split T3 flange, however the whole turbo is a T04B15. It's great for an International Harvester, but won't work on your car. Put it back on ebay.
Show me proof, not theories. Until then, my "worst" design works just fine on 10 second cars and 600whp. I'm not trying to start an argument, just show some proof with your claims.
Thank you for the reviews of our 2G FMIC kit. We are currently working on the same kit for the 1G. Expect that to be released in the next couple of months.
It looks like you'll be spending a lot of money on all those parts. It might be in your best interest and consider buying our complete T3T4 Kit. It will come with all the parts you are already buying, and an external wastegate so you won't ever have to worry about creep. Give us a call or...
We always recommend oil feed off the filter housing first with standard bearing turbos. If you have too much oil pressure because of an improperly machined engine, off the head will sometimes work fine.
Small T3 compressor. At the very best, it will make about as much power as a 14b, maybe a 16G if it's a 60 trim T3. Best choice is put it back on ebay.
It looks like you have all your ducks in row with supporting mods. The only thing I would suggest is going with the T04S compressor housing on the GT35R. We can build this for you in a T04E, but it already looks like you're going all out, so go all out with the S.
Thanks for the reviews guys. We have more core assemblies ready to go. Lead time from order is less than one week, depending on your piping and BOV preference.
Last month, the same week 1995gsxtreme was trying to get ahold of us, I was in Toronto, Ontario filming the episode of Tuner Transformation for The Speed Channel. At that same time, Kevin became very sick, and was unable to make it to work for that entire week. We apologize you were unable to...
Chances are you'll run into more problems later on if you don't have an experienced turbo shop rebuild it, like FP. Since your buddy works at a turbo shop, he should be able to tell you what parts it needs, unless there are other parts specially machined needed to make it all go together. :)...
There are only a few manufacturers of injectors. All the injectors here in question are made by Rochester. There are a lot of shops that sell these Rochester injectors in quite a few different flow rates, even though they start out as the same injector. Here is the difference. Most of...
Been there, done that with the 52 lb/min GT30R CHRA in the PTE housing. It works almost as well as a 20G. Martin, go dyno the thing. At 30psi, you'll get about 420 to the wheels. Trust me.If anyone wants one, I'll build one, reluctantly.
They are both the same Rochester injector. Some places feel the need to rate their injectors differently, and then call them something else.FIC injectors are matched sets.
