The Hayne's manual says to replace the pressure plate if the tabs are worn in the center like in the picture. But you think it looks okay? The flywheel looks fine to me (no pic), but I will be getting it resurfaced as well.

Well, I just replaced the ECU with a used 90 NT ECU and switched the pins. I checked it for capacitor leakage and it looks good. I guess it could be on it's way out also. I'll have to look into it a bit more.

I can see this thread is over a year old. To the original poster: did you find a solution to your Vacuum issue? I'm am going through a similar issue and will test the items listed above. I' just curious to see if you found a fix.

I haven't tried a different TB, but I may be able to get my hands on a different ISC, just to test it out. I'll definitely try that. All of my vacuum lines looked good, but I can check again.

If it is hanging by a vacuum line it may be one of the three solenoids that sit to the right of the original picture on the firewall. Post a pic of that area, or at least check it out for yourself.
