DSMs are very notorius for the exhaust valve guides going out. You will only see smoke at idle and sometimes start up. It is not noticeable while driving, the best way to see if this is the problem is to pull the exhaust mani off and take a flash light and look at the valves, you will see oil...
I work with a guy who says he bought an adapter wiring piece that is just plug and play with the the 1g harness to the 2g maf. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this.Thanks

Do you think it is i worthless to run that car over 7500 rpms. Meaning can i get the power I want under the 7500, I dont want to see what happens to a 4g63 at 5000 rpms if the timing belt breaks or anything else, much less 7500.Thanks,
