My gs oil cap recommends 5w-30, from the factory, but at around 100K I switched to 10w because of the increased tolerances, most oil shops will tell you the same, but I would never stray more than 5w away from the factory recommendation.

Well I installed the NGK iridiums and the accel wires, couldn't have been easier. It's hard to say but I think I notice some increased performance specifically throttle response. Definitely worth the money as a good tune up/performance mod. Rob

The proper way to start using synthetic would be to do an oil system flush, at an oil change shop, then use synthetic, however the flush could cause some leaks or make existing ones worse, your best bet is to just start using synthetic blend with no flushing. Rob
