Easiest way is to remove the 6 torx that hold the sunroof glass on and then once the glass it out, you'll see the clips that hold the sliders on. Once they're out, just reinstall the sunroof glass. I took mine out a long time ago and haven't looked back.

Not really any tricks that I know of. I always break it loose with the wrench and then use my fingers to back it all the way out. Same, in reverse, goes for putting it back in.

Like DJ said, pull the black triangle piece out. Then depending on if it's power mirrors or not, there may be a clip to undo. Other than that, it's just 3 nuts to take off. I had my door panel off when removing mine, but I don't believe it was mandatory. GL..

Finally got around to getting a few more pictures. Still learning in photography, but I thought I would share these 3. Everything was done with Canon XTi & 50mm 1.8PS. I know there's something missing up front, but I have a turbo to upgrade first.

I can't comment on the brackets causing it to sit crooked since I used a single din kit and mocked up the unit before drilling the holes.As for the gap, I did use the supplied trim. It will take some work. I was able to trim the top and bottom using scissors, but you'll also have to notch...

There was an aftermarket single din in the car when I bought it. However, the single din kit had broken tabs and the radio itself was lacking in the technology department. So I cut the plug they used and wired up the Pioneer. As for the housing kit, I had one from my GST and made it work...

Just one problem.. Mine didn't come with the stock brackets. The person who owned the car before me, removed them and therefore I was stuck using the kit as the mounting source as well. :hmm: It is very sturdy I assure you. I have 3 bolts going through the kit on each side and have it resting...

When I am shooting and don't want reflections, I use my 70-200L zoom and shoot at an angle (so the reflection is of the ground or above the camera).But I understand why you wanted the reflections. The paint looks good!
