Well. the samething happened to my car this past Friday night.....from what I was able to see, my front axle is shot. Not to mention the is what looks, and smells like transmission/diff fluid coming from my bell housing, so my trans might be shot too. But it's just a possibly. hope you didn't...
Nothing is up right now, just waiting.that's possible. But I was thinking, since I'll be running with a DBC I could start off running maybe 8 psi, which shouldn't spin the tires so much.....I guess I'm just gonna have too see. thanks.
Well who knows what the hell happened last night, all I know is all day today my car is running "normal". I guess it was just another one of those phantom gripes.

well, I swung the settings -50 to +50. i feel differences, but my little disco ball(a/f meter) still lights red like a stop light. I checked a/f on my tt, and it reads like 15.7......
I installed my 780s today, and now not only does it it idle between 1.4k and 2k, it causes my turbo to start spooling. Also, I can't seem to keep it from running lean. help?:confused:
After installing my intercooler and 780 cc injectors.....I of course decded to start her up. The problem is:My car is now having an oscillating idling from 1400-2k, which is making my turbo beging to spool up.Also, no matter how positive I set my SAFC to, it still runs VERY leanAny...
It's not that hard. I ran [email protected] with full weight, almost a whole tank a gas for a trip I was making later, and completely stock. Hell I still had my temp tags on it.
God that is the truth. it just more of a hassle in the long run. When I buy my 680/780s in October, I'm pretty sure my 550s will be in my possession for a while. :(
Venting will have a different effect than plumbing into the intake would, but it's not that drastic of a change. Other than running a little bit richer, and a little bit of a rough idle on occasion. Removing the lower and side honeycombs and backing the screw out flush will lean it out a bit...
the biggest prob you'll have is a rough idle, tho it's rare when that happens on my car. If you can deal with that, and just love the sounds then go for it. I have turboXS type H I'm tryin to sell for 110 shipped.

I've also dealt with slowboy. Let's just put it this way, I ordered my b16G turbo on new years eve and got it on the 3rd of january. Slowboy is very knowledgeable and they do good business.......you shouldn't be disappointed. :thumb:

I don't think anything is wrong with the car. I think you are having too little back pressure with that set up for a little T-25, lack of tuning equipment is also a factor. another is the fact it's FWD, we are not fortunate like the GSXs are in this aspect. After you get some tuning equipment...
well, since you have an X. you should definitely be able to achieve that in a B16G. You should pm ED(Eclipse4x4) I think he was running mid 12s on a b16G.
well since you don't have a safc yet(must have) I would have to guess it's safe to run at 14 maybe 15 psi. do you just have a muffler or a full exhaust? as for quarter mile time, maybe low 14-high 13 if you are good with your 60's I was running 14.7s stock with constant 2.0-2.1 60s , until...
I thought the 2600 was too much for GSTs? have you had any problems with that? a ported or aftermarket exhaust mani and 02 housing will help. let me know how that goes....after my 2nd turbo swap and fmic with tuning, I'm hoping to be there as well.
Well I would go with the TD06, as it gives you more to play with than the tdo5, making it just a little easier to accomplish your goals. If I'm not mistaken they are internally gated(but of course you can change that if need be). Go with 660/720s....it's just doing it right if you are going...
If wanted to stick with imports, either a 93-95 RX-7, 94-98 TT Supra, or Honda S2000.If I was to go domestic, late model WS6, late model Camaro SS, any model Corvette, or a '68 Camaro SS(probabaly my favorite).
Are there any intercoolers out there that produce very good airflow, with out major trimming or radiator replacement? To make it easier, I'm leaning towards the Greddy intercooler.
