What happens if the fluid is overfilled and it goes un-noticed for several months? This happened to me as the person who changed my filter and fluid overfilled and I didn't know until I started having transmission problems. I don't know if the two are connected, but I was told that...
This may be stupid.....but did you check for boost leaks? If you are lagging off the line, I would suspect that first. And maybe you already checked....
Could be your torque converter. I know I have a similiar problem in my car right now around 2K rpm's, but the rpm's do not go down when this happens.Typically, if you end clutch is going you will have the rpm's go up, but you don't go any faster. Pretty much like a manual when the clutch...
I'd recommend going with the boost gauge & controller next. You don't want to jump into the shift kit until you have decided how my hp you are looking at getting (or so I have been told). I would do the basic supporting mods and then build up from there.
I used the B&M this past summer when the tranny fluid was changed in my car. It's ok, I didn't notice a difference.I'm going to use Redline ATF this next time around. I've heard better reviews on it.

I don't think we are going. Besides, according to Derek, my car is "rice" and so it's probably not that fast. ;)I am waiting to add a few more goodies before bringing it to the track. Then we will see how it does. :)
