I want to put a 245/45ZR16 Proxes R888R on a 16x7.5 wheel with either a 38 or 35mm offset. Will it work?
This calculator says it will fit( better with a 38mm)...
Had a rich knock issue from the fuel pump voltage booster. Ran much better 'til the knock issue. Disconnected the voltage booster pressure sensor to have a more constant lower voltage boost (16-18 volts). Couldnt take it for a run after that because of a coolant leak. Have to fix that problem...
Problem was launch control rpm for injectors cutting out, fixed that. Tried to put it in closed loop by lowering fuel pressure to 38 from 43, didnt work. Increased fuel pressure back to 43,lowered global for ID 1000 injectors from -49 to -64, 900ms is the dead time. This made wide band O2 cycle...
Suddenly stopped going to closed loop at idle. No fuel above about 4000 rpm. This happened after I changed the injbatteryadj voltage dead times(ECM link V3). I changed them back to their original settings and it still has the same problem. Injectors are shutting off when throttle is increased to...
Want to install a boost a pump. After looking at fuel pump rewire vfaq http://www.raktron.com/fuel/denso1.html, the relay wiring conflicts a bit with the MSD Boost a pump instructions, which use the same relay.
Looks to me like the power wire from the fuel pump would go to 85 and ground to 86...
It's the round tan colored plug against the firewall, the other pic is the cap that goes on the plug. It was hard to find, I had to cut some electrical tape to be able to pull it out to use.
Just to make people aware. My MPI relay was shorted out by mouse piss. This ended up frying the relay, and preventing the car from running. Watch out for mice, they're not nice.
I found that the EVO 560's are rated at 2.25 bar (32.6 psi) at 43.5 they'll flow 650cc/min. Good info. for tuning. They're Nikki model INP-401. See the link-

What CAS are you using? This PDF from Magnus has a lot of good info. on 6 bolt swap methods, including CAS configurations. http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/tech/1gina2g.pdf
I liked my SSQV, but it did cause some surging, and the car would want to stall when leaving off the throttle, and pushing the clutch in. I installed a Synapse, and those problems went away, and it doesn't leak.
This Magnus 1G in a 2G pdf has a lot of good info.- http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/tech/1gina2g.pdf
I had a shop do my 6 bolt swap using my 2G head, and a 1G CAS. The advantage of the 1G CAS is that you can adjust the timing, however the 1G CAS can also cause a misfire. The Magnus pdf has a...
The 1G CAS can also cause misfire problems because it doesn't have high enough resolution for the 2G ECU. You can fix that problem w/ DSM Link, which has a feature that disables the misfire detection. Magnus also has a trick to prevent it. See page 10 of this PDF...
Jack's Transmissions recommends ACT clutches, and flywheels, as does the local shop I use (Showdown Motorsports-Toledo, Oh).

Magnus has a fix for misfires when doing a 6 bolt swap that may work in this instance also. See page 10- http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/tech/1gina2g.pdf
This DSM link post tells you what to do:installed 97-99 ecu in 95-96QUESTIONAll i have to do to make the car run is swap the coil pack trigger wires, BUT in order to make this run perfectly wount i need to also swap the injector wires (as shown here RRE Instructions ) to componsante...
Get a 3" turbo back exhaust too. Stock exhaust will choke off the upgraded turbo. You can get one on EBAY for 450-500 bucks, or scrounge around on the classifieds and get an even better deal.
VR speed factory has a decent FMIC kit for a decent price. VR Speed Factory - EVO, DSM & WRX Performance Parts - Intercooler - VRSF 2G Front Mount Intercooler Kit : 95 - 99 Eclipse & Talon TurboSpending close to 200 for stock SMIC hard pipes is a waste when you can get a whole FMIC kit for a...
There's some QC problems with the Fidanza flywheels. Step height not correct, dowel pins fall out, surface warps w/ too much heat. The only reason I mention this is because I was considering one for my car, and the shop that was doing the work told me to stay away from the fidanza flywheel. They...
If you've got a 1G CAS it can cause misfire problems because the 2G ECU requires a more accurate signal than the 1G CAS can provide. DSM link has a feature that can disable the misfire problem, or Magnus has a FAQ for getting rid of this problem- see page 10 of this...
A lot of shops recommend ACT, with your power level might as well go with a 2600, and street disc. If you decide to get a flywheel stay away from the Fidanza's. Jack's Transmissions recommends ACT stuff, and the shop that worked on my car (Showdown Motorsports) says to go with ACT also...
Prostreet has them for 276. Not such a great deal, but they have them. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/vendor-announcements/359264-huge-discounts-now-more-holset.html
Are they 3G lifters? My 2G lifters ticked badly no matter what I did. I got them to stop temporarily trying various things, but the ticking always returned with a vengeance. I got sick of it, so I put some 3G lifters in, and the ticking disappeared.
Try bleeding/adjusting the clutch. The video on this page will help you. Jacks Transmissions LLC — Tech ArticlesIf you notice any leakage in either the slave, or master, you'll have to replace it.
