Had to push my car off yesterday to start it. I heard the fuel pump cut on, all dash lights came on fine, and battery is fully charged, but no click or anything when i turned the key over. I've cranked it 2-3 times since then and haven't had any problems. Does this sound like my starter...
Call it soda OR pop here in the south and you'll get laughed at. Doesn't matter what it is (mountain dew, pepsi, coke, dr pepper)......it's a COKE. By no means am I a redneck, but it's still funny as hell sometimes b/c I do stuff like that without even knowing it.
I've tried the expanding foam in my door panels and it turned out to be a huuge mess. Take Chuckster's advice and first try to find where exactly the rattles are coming from. Dynamat is way overpriced in my opinion, but there are other companies that make the same products for much cheaper and...
"so no one answered 19? and if you can't figure it out with that hint, you don't deserve to figure it out "It was a simple question...there was no need to be a dick about it. Grow up.
I've had this problem also......did exactly what Steve said. Pull your overflow resevoir, wash it out and shake it up and down. The floater is probably stuck to the bottom of the bottle.Dave
Spaceballs
Blazing Sadals

any of the Naked Gun movies
Mystery Science Theatre 3000
What about Bob
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Strange Brew
The Wizard of Oz/Pink Floyd
The 3 Amigosmost are older movies...but still funny as hell
Trace all the wires and found out where he was getting power from and where he grounded it. If either of those has come loose, they won't work. I hit a bump in my car one day and and mine shut off. Turned out that my ground had come loose. If that's not the case, check out www.modacar.com. I...
I'm also having this problem, but tranny fluid has been changed in the last 20,000 miles (not syncromesh though). What would it take to cure this problem......new synchronizer or can you fix the old one?.....$ wise, what are we talkin about guys? PREESH.Dave
I've got the blue AC autotechnic guages. The oil pressure guage only goes to 100psi, but it does the job. $50 at http://www.splittingimagez.com/AC%20Autotechnic%20Gauges.htm
.....scroll all the way to the bottom. I'm happy with em. I've got a few pics that I'm tryin to get on my computer...
Tell us what exactly you're trying to download. Sometimes something simple like spyware could interfere with a download. Try running spybot and some kind of antivirus, get it cleaned up and try again.
It all depends on what you want out of the car, and how much you're willing to spend. Word of advice, don't skimp on suspension...you'll regret it later. Try doin a search for "springs and coilovers". It's a pretty common question, and there's lots of info out there. This should get you...
The best bang for your buck would be Cancun. I've been a travel agent for almost 4 years now, and Cancun seems to offer the most for the cheapest price. If you're worried about it bein all high school kids there actin like complete asshats, don't worry. There are plenty of resorts that are a...
You can buy the intake flanged for an aftermarket OR stock bov (depending on where you order it from). I would go ahead and pick the 1g bov while you're upgrading. It's not as pretty as the Greddy, but it $100 cheaper and it works just as well.

Does anybody have any pics of AC Autotechnic guages lit up at night? I'm looking specifically for their boost guage, but any of them will do (boost, oil pressure, oil temp, ect......)
I had a '99 Cougar for about a year and a half before I got rid of it for my eclipse. They have started selling em from the factory with the full Wings West Kit. .I've come across some sweet looking cougars........BUT, it's still a Ford. :thumbdown
Yes, definently don't go cuttin carpet. You WILL have to cut small holes and slits for the seat moutning brackets and a few other various things. But, make em as small as you can at first. You can make a hole bigger.....but not smaller. Thanks for stickin that advice in Mitsutuner.
Myself and several of my friends have used this place to get new carpet. Comes pre-molded with jute padding underneath, and heel pads. They do offer OEM black carpet for all models. Word of advice.......if you do order some, I'd borrow a steamer from someone before you install it. It comes...
Sounds like you're leaking coolant from somewhere. I've had the same problem before. Put some cardboard or something underneath your car after you shut it off and watch for drips or leaks. It's a start.
I had an Eibach Pro Kit......didn't like it. Bought some Ground Control coilovers and KYB AGX shocks. I like em. Ride quality, cornering, ect..... is great.Ground Controls- $350
KYB AGX - $330
I guess I've never really looked to see how many people are in the south. I'm in Hattiesburg.....about 2 hours from Nawlins. We may have to put together a "small" meet sometime (I doubt there's very many of us). It'd be cool to actually meet somebody off this board.** I didn't read your...
Ground Controls are made specific to certain shocks, that's why you have to find out which shock your GC's go with before you buy. They customize the spring rates to fit your shock/struts. GC's that fit KYB's, won't work with Koni's or Tokico's. It's not a great idea to use coilovers with your...
For those who have changed the upper door trim themselves; Is there a DIY tech article on this or anything? I've tried takin the old ones off to install the new pieces, but I can't figure out what all is holding it on (screws, brackets, clips, ect...).
I've got Ground Controls and KYB AGX shocks. Best investment I've made to my car yet. The car rides/handles incredibly. I paid $356.00 + shipping at http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/
Do you not know what Ground Controls are? No, they're not a "magical shock" as you like to call it. They're adjustable springs...and by having adjustable springs, he can set his own ride height. By doing this, it stops his tires from rubbing the fender.
If you're lookin at spendin several hundred dollars for a shop to roll your fenders, why not just go ahead and spend that money on some Ground Controls, have the adjustability, and not have to worry about bending or cutting your car in the first place. Just my $.02David
I had the same problem but it was my drivers side. I tried just about everything, including fabricating some spacers (which also didn't work). I ended up ordering some Ground Control coilovers. Problem solved.:thumb:
Crawl up underneath and find out what's been done. Someone has either installed some lowering springs, or heated up the springs. Sounds like ya may wanna invest in some new shocks and struts too. See what you're runnin, then somebody could give you a better idea on what to do.Dave
I just got some white HVAC overlays from ebay and, of course they didn't come with instructions. For those of you that have them, do you have any instructions or advice on putting them in. For instance, do you have to take the knobs off?, do they just stick right on the surface or is there...
Stick a dryer sheet under each seat ,roll up ur windows, and check it the next morning. I'm a smoker, but I hardly EVER smoke in my car. When I do, this works every time.
That's what I needed to know. Thanks guys. One more question for you guys that aren't running full cat-back exhausts. Does anyone know of a decent turbo muffler (preferably dual pipe) that isn't annoyingly loud? I just can't bring myself to put an APC coffe can on my car.
Yeah, that's the one I'm talkin about. I'd actually like a deeper tone to my exhaust, but I'm not tryin to make it THAT much louder. Performance wise, did you gain anything from it at all?
