    Ok, I started the process of getting the 2G rear poly subframe bushing made. I need two guinea pig cars, preferable with the subframe out and must and have access to Digital Calipers and know how to read it well. So let me know.

    Just so that I am clear for the installation of the bushing. When the old rubber bushing is remove you will notice a two layers of metal , Do not remove or separate them. I will try to get pics later. Just clean all the old rubber out and install the new bushing. If you need more info or...

    These kits are only for the 1G. I am currently working on getting the 2G made but is going to take some time... See the pics to see the mounting points have the red circle on the two subframe. I can get these made in any color but it will take about two weeks.

    When I first made these I had remove the outer sleeve and I must say it was a pain in the ass to get it out. So I made the bushing to fit with the sleeve in place.The stock bushing is on the left

    The outer METAL SLEEVE MUST NOT BE REMOVE... If the outer metal sleeve is remove from subframe or the mustache brace the bushing will not fit.The hole will become too big.

    A rule of thumb that i found is ; 5/16" (-5AN) will support up to 300 horsepower, 3/8" (-6AN) will cover up to 500 HP, and 1/2" (-8AN) is good to 700HP

    I got the ones for the 1G supframe made, I know I can get these made of Poly Urethane (soft or hard) but the only problem is I would have to get about 20 bushings made. How may would be interested in a set.

    Check your PVC valve it might be blocked . Do a compression and a leak down test; you might be getting lots of blow by.

    I had a 4 core FMIC in my GalantVR4 and i drove from NY to FL a few times and i never had a overheating problem. The car had the stock rad and fan. The ac fan was a 12" one from Advance auto.

    It seems like you have mix match parts, A 7bolt clutch cannot be used in a 6 bolt motor. Look at he crank and see how many bolt holes are on it.Looks like you have both 6 and 7 bolts parts.

    Thats sounds like you have worn vavles seals..Sometime using a heavier oil may help.

    You will need 2.4l engine out of a 89 sonata. Not a 4g64, that is a 7 bolt version. The sonata's have a 6 bolt 4g63.

    You probably won't see much change in the boost level. It shouldn't be too hard to try it.

    If you are unsure just add one or two bottle of octane boost. Gas has stat in my GN for longer that and I did not see any driving issues.

    Take the crank to a good machine shop to have them check the crank. May be the crank just needs to micro polish or to be cut.
