Where can I get some cams that are like the hks 272. THe hks's are on backorder for ever
and looking for something the same as 272. What other cams are there with the same specs as the 272's with same quality not regrinds. :thumbdown
Who has used this particular turbo (pte scm61 internally gated)? Are you happy with it and what horspower numbers were you making(boost and mods to get that number).

I was told that the cylinder walls (1100m miles on motor) Had no crosshatching marks on them. The place that metal shavings was in the main journal of the crank where the oil is sent to first and the other journals(rod jouranls as well) has a little scarring. The crank wasn't turned that much...
Current Status:
Crank is being turned, Had to buy new pistons becuase block was over.20 Bought .40 pistons sold the old ones. Before fuel system stock no upgrade pump either. Reason for rebuild lean out motor?????
Break in.... Motor idle 10min change oil and filter, drive and do third gear...
well iwas told with a stroker motor needed that mod for sure. even was told might be running lean with this motor especially under boost. Why not a charged air?
O.K , Here's the deal. Had a stroker motor built by a reputable shop.
Eagle rods, .20 JE's and the typical other bottom acc.(arp, cle.). Put motor in car a with a freshened up head as well. After about 1100 miles motor started making a louder than normal noise thought it was crank walk in a 6...
Yeah thats the thought I have in the back of my head about the fork snapping. The only thing is, it be about another week b/c I sunk all the money in finishing paying for my motor.:talon:
Curious if many of you have actually broken clutch forks. Stroker motor going in car here in the next week and wondering if its worth the extra 130.for a billet one from taboo speed shop. Or if the stock one will be good enough. I've herd its good to replace them but alot of shops don't heve...
I thought I had read somewhere at one time that there was a differnce in 1g an 2g knock sensors. Motor going back in car and was trying to figure out if one is better than the other.:talon:
I read setting up the afc on this board and it said something about not hooking up the blue wire. Does it decrease o2 voltage or what is the problem with having it hooked?????:talon:
