Well got some more info on the car. Build book arrived with everything. The original non functional design cost is lost forever officially but to make it from the non functional roadster to the functional convertible it is today was drum rollll.... 164 000 dollars in design and hardware costs...

No offense but the iconic pop up headlights of the 90-91 is iconic. They was the last pop up headlights. The g2 is iconic because it was used in movies. But I would buy a 90-91 long before a 94+. I noticed a rising trend in the 1g series and some 2g's mainly the AWD Turbo models creeping up in value and difficult to find clean examples now. I seen a lot going for 7-12k and the super clean low miles examples going for more. Anyone else notice this?

The big motor companies have a tendancy to loose there poop. Especially when you start asking about what they call non support vin# aka concept car vin#'s .and when you give them an exact vin # that 100% is one and you say well it's in my driveway they really get mad.

It's only happen ever on a trip where I went off the beaten path and got gas at a less used gas station and then octane booster stopped it in a few seconds. Most likely was weak gas for premium

Yep turbo car. Ok I have heard it ping then I added the octane booster to it immediately and it stopped I just waa wanting to check with others. On facebook guy said it needed to be tuned better but I highly questioned that that answer.
