1. If the BOV is recirculated, there should be a hose running back from the BOV to the intake pipe before the turbo.2. You shouldn't tighten the BOV screw all the way down! This will force the BOV to only work under high PSI. Loosen it up buddy :)good luck and let us know what happens

When i add gas to accelerate and the RPMS are above 3,000rpm in 3rd or 4th gear, sometimes the car will jerk violently. This really scares me and makes me wonder what it could possibly be. What do you think?Anyone have any further thoughts and what parts to replace/rebuild?

Depending on how wide your window opening is for bringing a coat hanger in, just wrap a bit of duct tape around the end of the coat hanger so it's more sturdy. That should do the trick. :)Good luck and let us know how you get it open!

You've got a NICE car & a NICE turbo setup. Don't screw it up with a BAD blow-off valve. The last thing you want to do is to cause compressor surge and destroy the new turbo.Spend $40 and get a 1g BOV off of the classifieds section...seriously, do it now.

Try using heavier oil. When I was running 10w-30, I noticed some smoke coming out of my exhaust too every now and then. Now I'm running 10w-40 and no problems. Some even recommend 20w-50 on older engines. You should try 20w-50 :) And DO NOT use SYNTHETIC oil if the engine has not always...
