I personally tried to use the e-manage but was very disappointed in the performace of the e-manage. I declared it a peice of crap. A better option is to use a KEYDIVER CHIP he has the abbility to re address the injector size into the factory ecu map hence the timing problem with larger...

indexing on a v-8 was done also for the crappy combustion chamber design. We have a nice hemi chamber so it is not an issue. If you get a chance to look at the combustion chamber on a chevy or ford v-8 you will see what I am talikg about.

I am assuming you are running a AFC to compinsate for a larger injector? If so then the sourse of you knock would be in the ecu maps. You can get a chip that has the injector size re adressed into the EPROM here I personally run 850`s and do not have the timing issues accociated with larger...
