Threw in the fuel pressure regulator I had stashed for a while, Cuse I got the Precision Turbo Engineering 1000cc injectors put in this weekend. Got the idle down, gonna b logging & tuning while I drive around alittle today!! 🤘🤘🤘
Worked on a buddy's gsx! Valve cover gasket, brake fluid reservoir, few changes on ecmlink, threw new shoes on and finally did some cruising and he blew the manifold to turbo gasket so to autozone we went. Fixed that and cruised some more.. That was my weekend!! Bad ass🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yeah it's really enjoyable and fun. Getting it looking better and better is the coolest part of it all. But yeah man I don't exactly know what u mean by fsm. Help me out. Lol
Been driveing the car to work everyday now and it rides so good. Drives straight and so comfortable. I been replacing everything to get my cruse controle workin. But to no avail. I replaced the cruse controle module on passenger kicker panel, brake light switch on pedal, the whole cruse...
Hey. I just checked the specs on my flywheel when I bought it. Didn't check when I received it. And I bought a stage 1 exedy clutch and pressure plate. And used stock everything else. Ur fork bent? Or wore real bad in the ball pit area? I have seen them wear almost all the way throw.
What did u end up doing? Is it the step hight on the flywheel? Or is it the clutch? U try putting washer behind the pivot ball? Mine was like that. And I shimmed it and worked out. I had new clutch flywheel all that. But same used fork and ball. Just a suggestion.
Woke up hit the garage.. I did some sanding, painting, Then mounted the engine and transmission this morning. I have some party's today so hopefully next time she will b running and driving.
Pulled the engine and transmission out of the purple spyder and swapped all the parts for the manual to auto swap.. now prep and clean the engine bay hit some spots with some paint prevent some rust.
Pulled the engine and trans on this one this weekend.. In the process of moving some stuff around have to pull the engine on the other car and swap the trans around and install back in the Grey. Get it back on the road..
I put a fidanza flywheel on my mostly stock car last year. Have a few thousand miles on it now drives great. Not a problem yet. Clutch engages and disengage like it should and the step height of the flywheel was said to b in the specs of the stock flywheel. Had to add a little shim to the flork...
Picked up another 2g spyder over the week. Few issues. Previous owner said it ran hot and he finished driving it home and never messed with it. Well when I went and picked it up it was pretty clean. Little rust in the usual spots. But not to major, poped the hood and seen the waterpump pully was...
Have around 650 miles on new clutch was about to go on a cruise today after work, seen and felt wire on one of my rear tires. (From tire camber) luckily..
Well was throwing some different rims and tires on. Thats after adjusting the coilovers up alittle for the bigger tires.
Felt the front...
I understand that. I was very very worried my self to get everything right. I talked to the vendor in person and showed my concerns and he assured me. Just for the fact I never done that kinda measuring b4. Who knows if I would even read it or check it right.. that's why I showed concern b4 I...
Of course the first time I installed it first thing i looked at was the clutch fork postion and noticed the clutch fork was adjusted too far to the left in the hole so i had to pull it back off to shim the the pivot ball. Then added the washer behind the pivot ball and reinstall it. Then Looked...
So have about 600 miles on the new clutch and must say.. so glad I got it over with. Also not a leak one. Impressed with the fact I have not had no problems. Took two installs of the Trans to make sure the clutch fork postion was spot on. Figures crossed. Time to mess with the boost controller...
It never made no sound and never really had a problem getting it in and out of gear. I was thinking Mabe the front input axle seal in transmission. Cuse looking at pic. No oil or anything on one side of clutch disc. Then on the transmission side of clutch disc u see the oil/whatever. Realy hope...

Man it’s dirty grease or whatever. it’s really don’t look that bad. Everything was so nasty. The shaft and all that looks perfect don’t think the shaft was leaking. But even the throw out bearing had so much clutch material and built up oil/gear oil/grease/whatever all over it everywhere caked on.
bought the car in 2020 and never been able to launch the car. Or get too much into boost. It had a lot of the clutch disc material everywhere but never had no problems with anything else. What’s your opinion? The chunks u see on the disc is dust build up and just chunks that was falling off...
Started the clutch job over the weekend. Taken my time throughly cleaning and making sure everything is as it should. Already have the clutch kit. Waiting on the flywheel from Rixracing. Thanks for the help with everything.
Got the first drive down. Need to figure the clutch out but drove good. Needs an alignment and a few things tightened up. I didn’t trust it to much. But I was stoked.
Been waiting in the mail for the
axle,
2 wheel bearing,
axle seals,
brake caliper bracket,
gear oil,
oil filter and
spark plugs.
Most of it came in this week.
the axle seals in with the axle r all done up. Waiting to button up the mounts and put the wheels back on and see what happens...
