I have a 1g bov and the nipple on the top is pointing in the wrong direction. Can I forcefully rotate the cap? Mine is pointing at the 7 o clock position and want it at the 5 o clock location. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I thought I would share as this requires no drilling and 100 percent directly bolts up to our chassis for 8 dollars.
Having a FMIC I needed to get rid of my factory tank.Part number at O'Reillys is: MCR3
The bracket it comes with is flat but I bended it to pull the tank towards the...
Ok guys I hope this isn’t prohibited but this is a question about a Mazdaspeed 3 I have. Bought with overheating issues. My issue is after bleeding the coolant system with the cap off and capping it all my coolant eventually makes its way to the overflow reservoir and stays there then I start...
I'm in the process of shimming my transmission. For my intermediate shaft outer bearing my crushed solder measures .0376 (in).
Spec range is .0031 - .0051 (in)Do I just add my measurement to the medium spec range and shim it to that?
Hey guys. I previously had a rear tires locking thread that I resolved for a few months. I ended up rebuilding the transfer case with same issues. I replaced the rear differential (upgraded to lsd while at it) and my issues were resolved.FFWD to now my front tires started locking above 30...
Ok I’m in the process of freshening up my headliner. I scraped off all the old foam from it down to the fiberglass sheet section and now is extremely flimsy to apply the new foam with fabric.
Anyone know what I can use to strengthen it so it can hold its form while it lays out to put the new...
I pieced the car up from a straight shell.Bought the trans and transfer case together and was told it was a 97+ combo.
I hadn't really driven the car much until I completed the rebuild a while back. I've driven the car at least 80 miles trying to do the break in process.
The car drives fine...
I'm looking up Ring end gap on Alldata and its giving me these values.
My current measurements on 1st ring are .406mm (.016in)
2nd ring is coming in at .559 (.022in)
Is that too much on the tight side?
Plans for the car are to stay on factory T25.
I'm using factory replacement pistons.
This part of the block has got me iffy as it seems very thin. I saw some pics of another block but can’t tell if it’s normal. Surface is where the thrust bearing sits.
In the process of rebuilding my engine I stripped everything down. Inspecting the block cylinder 2-3 have wall damage. It feels like ribbed grooves. Did 2-3 run too hot? 1&4 are good.
Wondering if this gap is normal amongst these cars. I haven’t measured with a caliper but this looks very large. I haven’t had a dsm in a bit either and don’t remember it being this large.
Just did a black dash swap on my 97 gsx and I saw this on the passenger floor when mounting my glove box.If you know what it’s for please advise.
Hoping it belongs somewhere else and was just sitting in the glove box from PO.Thanks
