  1. ECMlink Idle Surge help please

It only does it random or when it been idling for like longer than 5 minutes than it develop it and when I watch the log the time it raises in idle when the 02 sensors are cycling
  2. ECMlink Idle Surge help please

theres a new log of the surge
  3. ECMlink Idle Surge help please

i was just wondering if anyone could just look over my idle log and give me a good idea or a place to start on why my idle keeps surging up and down but 500 rpms. no boost leaks up to 15 pounds and only plan on running 12 for now so i dont blow it up. its got a hy 35 speed density, on ecmlink...
  4. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

So I do have a rear O2 in as well but I did notice yesterday someone before me was playing around with the wiring so I wonder if that’s why it won’t cycle to the rear. And just a question that I’m generally curious what would switching around my O2 sensors do?I’ll definitely watch that video...
  5. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

so i did unlock the mpd and it didnt really make a diffrence and i let it get to temp and it didnt really change anything.
  6. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I did put the global and dead times that the injectors came with in and it was idling around 10-11 so I lowered global dead times and got it to 12.5 AFRs and yes sir, it's a 2g GSX.How would I get my map sensor to read properly since I went the Mitsubishi MDP style? And how would I get my...
  7. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

Hi guys, I finally got my car running and idling with no surging and no CELs.Today I boost leak tested and smoke tested to 15 psi. My wastegate is only 12 and that's what I plan on running for now so I can drive my car and enjoy since I haven't gotten to drive it since I got it, which was a...
  8. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

Also when the car got to temp I tried to do my ISC position but when I turned the BISS screw the value didn’t change. It stayed at 120 so I put it back in the same spot it was in.
  9. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I’ll email AEM and see if they can warranty the sensor cause it’s brand new first time starting it upCould also a exhaust leak cause my o2 sensor to go all funky because I think I may have A bolt that backed out alittle
  10. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

How should I go about fixing the wideband? And I’m gonna boost leak test the car again Tomarrow cause I’m at work for the rest of the day
  11. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

i punched in my old numbers when i first put the injectors in and it idled better to full temp but idled in the 20's also and everytime I put the dead time to 0 it didn’t really like to idle
  12. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I’m at the car right now I’ll post a new one I thought I did the changes
  13. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

Here's the new log: but my AEM gauge is 11.3v at the power wire. Zeroing out the dead times did help it fire up but still hard for it to idle. The AEM gauge jumps to around 14-16 when it fires up or trying to keep it alive with your foot but than coming down in RPMs it just into the 20-28
  14. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I still have the box so I’ll double check and give that AEM gauge a dedicated wire to the battery and post a log and yes thank you everyone for the helping and giving me advice
  15. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I’ll check tomorrow and I’ll give the AEM gauge a dedicated wire from the battery with a inline fuse and a vacuum gauge and zero out the dead times. If I can’t figure it out how does one zero out the dead times
  16. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

Yes stock cams and on vacuum I’m not to sure I was running a electric boost controller but I just took it off to sell it and haven’t switch to the mechanical gauge but I’m going to switch it over when it stops blowing 65mph winds here
  17. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I have my wideband sensor in the front O2 pin on the ECU and the power source for the wideband is coming from the radio. I also have my base fuel pressure around 44 but can come down to 42psi and I was thinking the injectors were dialed in wrong.
  18. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

It’s Extreme PSI speed density kit with the Mitsubshi MDP style kit #27806
  19. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

mod list: walbro 450, 1250 fic injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, speed density with mistu style map, hy35 turbo with aem uego afr gauge, ecmlink v3, fmic fresh start from the build and i just installed the hy35 and it idled fine for 20 minutes and shut the car off and went home for...
  20. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I wonder why the Mitsubishi style ones not working right and I’m still a little confused if you wanted me to change the whole sensor to the gm bar or just change the setting in ECMLink? I’m not to concerned about staying stock I just thought the Mitsubishi style would work better since it was...
  21. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

So I should switch to a GM style instead of the MDP style? Or is that in the ECU input tab? And I’ll log everything it lets me and I’ll to add more values
  22. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I’m heading home when I get the new ISC and I do have a Omni 4 bar. I bought the speed density bundle (mistu style). How would I fix the reading so it’s not reading positive? What other reading do you want so when I head to the car I can get a new log
  23. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I did set the fuel pressure with the vacuum off and my injectors are FIC 1220s.I thought speed density kits were easy too but idk I’m the only one you know that’s not running GM MAP cause I have the Mitsubishi style so on top of the intake manifold for a stock look but I’m hoping it’s my ISC.
  24. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

Everything should be updated and I forgot to mention it’s a 97 7 bolt and also I have a steady 40 psi on my fuel pressure regulator. It feels something more with air than fuel. And I can’t keep the car alive by steady holding the gas it will stall I have to keep blinking the throttle
  25. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I pretty sure I went to capture value and I added more but I couldn’t get like my Omni 4bar to pop up and others like I did on my other laptop
  26. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I try to add more values but it won’t let me on this laptop and I’ll try that next time I’m at the car
  27. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I tried the setting you said to try and the car wouldn't start until I changed it back
  28. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I do plan on putting it in but the guy who’s making it says next week I will have it but the afr not reading shouldn’t stall the car out. I’ll be back at the car here in 20 minutes and I’ll try those settings in your picture and I’ll unlock my MPD
  29. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

I have a wide band but my down pipe is being made right now
  30. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

Here the log I have where it stayed alive the longest. I had to use a different computer and for some reason wont let me display more values.I'm currently having my down pipe made I just need it to stay alive so I can get it out of my brothers garage
  31. ECMlink Car won’t stay at idle

Mod list: DSMLink v3, 1220cc injectors, speed density (Mitsubishi style), after market fuel pressure regulator, gt35r turbo, tubular manifold, FMIC, Walbro 450 pump.Got the car in pieces and finally put it all back together. I can get the car to fire up like normal and it will hold RPMs but...
  32. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

lol I love u guys shes alive!! shes idles and I can smooth out the rest but its alive! I think the coolant sensor helped and that tune you guys gave me I really apricated it guys what a good community!
  33. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

alright I throw it in there and see if that helps and it does make sense if the computer thinks its -74 it doesn't wanna start
  34. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

this is a updated log after tsi talons adjustments but marking the cas box on and off made no difference. I also made sure that there is fuel pressure I can raise it and lower it and when the keys off it returns back to 0
  35. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

thanks man when I get off work and I will make a further post but I never messed with any setting besides calculating injectors sizes and idle pm and all the speed density setting and tried startng from there and I do have a aem wideband gauge just waiting on my 90 v band and I can get tha gauge...
  36. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

I also have a few starter fluid logs where it fires up and idles for like a second and than dies and I have other logs where its trying to sart with no help
  37. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

lol thanks man just let me know and if we can figure this issue out ill order ya a pizza or something for the help
  38. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

I have fuel all the way back to the tank. fuel pressure is a steady 40psi and I pulled the rail and tried starting the car and the injectors are firing I just think and feels like there not firing in the correct order. and I haven't messed with injectors that much besides putting them in the...
  39. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

That picture should have the cam angle sensor
  40. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

For all I know it’s a 7 bolt I was not informed if it’s a 6 bolt. I just received a car with a bunch of parts in a box lol
  41. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

I will man in like 10 minutes but I might know why too. I had to go off the second firing order so could the injectors be firing in the wrong order?
  42. ECMlink dsmlink & speed density first start

Mod lost: 1220cc injectors Walbro 450 pump after market fuel pressure regulator gt35r turbo with tubular manifold dsmlink v3 and mistu style speed density bundle from ecm tuning. So I been trying to get to at least idle and build oil pressure so I see the condition of the bottom end( I received...
