My plymouth laser rs wants to Jerk when getting on the throttle in first and second. Kinda almost feels like I'm starving for fuel.. revs fine until you put a load on it. Could it be fuel pump shitting out on me?

Looking for some help to redo the timing on my 93 RS. Previous owner has it a half or full tooth off. Runs but has a rattle. Checked timing marks and seems to be about a half tooth off.

I have a 93 Plymouth Laser RS 2.0 that has a rattle in the top end at idle. Seems to smooth out when the idle goes up around 3 grand. Anyone else run into this before? I believe the valves are not adjustable. Just don't wanna throw parts at it if not needed.
