    Turn it all the way in so it bottoms out and seal up the plug with a bit of rtv around the plug and put it back on. My car cold starts at 1500rpm and 800 hot idling. No surge at all that coolant cold start thing is junk.

    I dont know anything about my trans but it steers just fine not the hopping u usually get with a welded diff and no hesitate its instant go when I let the clutch out. So its a mystery why it drove great with no transfercase.

    Using my apexi avcr boost controller I was trying to set up boost by gear but its impossible my speed display jumps around 20 km down and up even though its hooked up to the speed input to the ecu. Dose it need to be hooked up to the gauge output?

    Honestly set your tps to .630mv adjust the biss screw correctly with the timing connector shorted and the isc grounded on the plug under the dash. Then pull the tb off pop out the frost plug and screw it all the way in till it bottoms out. Put some sealant on the plug and tap it back in. I bet...

    That's what I was told too so unless I have a welded front diff there must be some other explanation? My car litteraly drove around my shop twice and dident care the transfer case was missing and the drive shaft was wired up under the car. Drove the same as it did with everything hooked up.

    Me too it was sooo embarrassing being that guy with the wild up and down rpms any time I started the car it would idle smooth and steady rpm but touch the throttle once while it was cold and the rpms started bucking 500 ish up and down.

So I was digging around at work and I found a Cummins exhaust gasket that multi layer steel but it's just a bit smaller then the hole.     Ha ha as it says I finally harnessed that wild bucking cold start rpm! I finally pulled my TB off popped out the plug and screwed in the valve tight to disable it forever. Now I have a smooth 1500rpm cold start idle no wild rpm jumps and smooth 800ish rpm idle hot. Perfect I dont know why that...

    I have a wide band car runs fine at 16 if I'm not driving it stupid. On the highway it wont go under 11.5 it just the fast rpm spikes in 123 it leans out on the top end of rpm. At 10psi its pig rich in every gear. Hoping for 20psi with the regulator hooked up right

    Timing is a little advanced maybe. The pig rich is a speed thing under 90mph it's just fine 14.5 afr cruising. I filed my manifold flat same with the turbo and the head mounting side of the manifold. See how it holds up over the long weekend coming up.

    I have blown out 3 gaskets now. What about just putting a piece of aluminum for a gasket surface? Anytime I'm cruising at 90mph for 30 40 minutes straight the turbo gets so hot the gaskets fry and blow out. Or my bolts loosen up from heat maybe letting it blow out.
