Hi guys I just bought another Mitsubishi and was wondering which dealer has the best service department and mechanics for maintenance and warranty work?In the past I bought my dsm to concord but that was 10 years ago
I have a car cover it is custom made for 95-96 eclipse. It may fit other 2G DSM depending on your car. It fits like a glove and has grommets to tie down also.
Multiple layers very high quality.
I bought it for $200+ new, it's either coverking or covercraft

2G DSM Radiator great condition very low miles. $4095 Mitsu Eclipse factory shop manual. Includes 2 books, mechanical and electrical. Must have for 2G owners
$60.. will throw in chilton's manual for free also.test pipe, for 2G AWD, with gaskets. 2.5" $20RRE multi ply metal...
I need to go to test-only this year.. I was wondering if I submit the fees for PNO now, and then go back to DMV to change back to operation.. I think DMV will give you a temp sticker, but would I still need to go to test only ?I figure even PNO is like $20, that's still beat the...
I have a carbide burr and air die grinder, removing material seems much faster if I press the bit harder onto the housing, I tried not pressing hard, but and it takes forever just make a bunch of fine shavings. Am I doing it right?I usually let the tool running at full speed (20,000 RPM @...
Also thinking about these 2
does anyone know what is better, the new thead style falken azenis RT615 or kumho MX?straight line FWD grip is most important than lateral grip second.
BFGoodrich G-Force SportI want to know more about this one. How do you like it?I have the old Kumho Escta 712? on the car still how does the SPT compare because the old 712 leave alot to be desired.
I have been away for a while, used to use Azenis for the front.
They don't last very long (but I have even wear), I am running a smaller turbo these days so I would like to step down to something more economical. What do you think is a good choice? I want to mail order because I only...
if intercooler is not in violation then why can't you change the intercooler pipes?? You must almost change it in order for the new intercooler to work.
snowborder714 thanks for your help.I read the RRE diagram and said put use the P line only, and tee the original P and E. Didn't say what the E on the 1GTB is used for, it has no vacuum on that line, but I put my boost gauge on there for now, it's not right though.Anyway, the problem I...
Is there someone who is willing to help me out, I have a 2G with 1G throttle body, if you have the evap solenoid and EGR solenoid hooked up can I come by and compare with yours? I tried to read the diagram but I have no idea where those vertical tubes really go behind the intake manifold...
Gotcha but do you put any RTV on the turbo side i.e. right on the bottom of the turbo? Is it too hot there?I had success with RTV in the past, seems to help seal up any surface imperfections, but I forgot if it was done on the turbo side or not...
That's great man, good to see still see people running this turbo. Normally I would not hesistate to pay them the $100 for the port job, FP does the highest quality porting job you can find. Except the lead time I was quoted 2-3 weeks to do the port job but I wanted the turbo right away...
Thanks guys. The bits came from summit racing.. I've got the 4 piece carbide burr kit and deluxe porting kit. They are really good quality.. I only used one bit per grit. Stepping up grits with instructions give you near shiny finish that resists carbon build up recommended for exhaust...
Hey guys finally finished, took a few hours compressor had about 2.5 hours of run time with breaks in between.
a couple pictures shows the original lip and the tools I used. It's a FP Big T28. Now it match my manifold and 7cm gasket. I wasn't trying to hog it out, the sides get kind of...

My car has been sitting for 14 months inside the garage. I looked at the belts turned the crank by hand, was turning fine. Tires OK.Do you think the gas needs to be drained? if the car runs then I can just go easy and not boost it until I fill it up again right?By the way the...
Hey guys, I removed the turbine housing.. forgot to mark the relation to the center cartrige. It appears on the T-25/ T-28 does not have a key to lock the rotation and can rotate on a sleeve. I need to put it back properly, hopefully the wastegate actuator is accurate enough for the alignment...
I need to take off the turbine housing to port the inlet, turbo is new so it shouldn't be too hard. do I just remove the 4 bolts and it will come off easily?Do you guys know how tight they are supposed to go back on?
Hey guys I looked at the turbo it definitely looks like they already machined whatever needed on the outlet to fit the larger wastegate and turbine wheel! To remove the turbine housing, I know it's just needed remove the clamp, but there is a key way so it goes back same angle as before?
I will just remove the lip from the entrance and open it up then.I will open the stainless steel gasket between turbo and O2 to match the O2 housing, so that the gas isn't hitting the gasket.
I will be getting a FP Big T-28, I asked FP what they do with the $95 porting they said only remove the ring / step on the inlet of the turbine housing. To the 7cm opening size, I suppose. They do NOT do any work on the outlets. There is a long wait to port it so I decided to port it...
So then the 2 bolts on the oil pan if it goes through to the pan how does it stop oil from leaking out?I would guess that's why the RTV is effective at stopping the leak, it with the gasket somehow sealed the oil that would excape through the threads of the bolt
Hi do you guys know a good way to install the turbo return lines... I don't think the turbo matters. I have new gasket. Do you dress it with RTV or not? Also for the oil pan do you put RTV on the bolts, because I think they go through to the oil pan?One trick someone told me is to...
Thanks, I need this quickly (I am in CA too) this seller is a standup guy right?
Are you using some kind greddy BOV on your beater (another 2G??), does the stock recirc hose fit nicely? The type-S is discontinued right? Do you think I would have any problems with the newer Type-RS? I have...
Thanks everyone's reply especially RedTurboEclipse wow you have used all 3 of them?I have been through many setups on my DSM, just redoing everything for daily driving now. I already got a HRC FMIC, it runs to the stock location (long route), I was trying to use my plastic stock upper pipe...
Would you chooseRREDejon ToolGreddy (no throttle body replacement)Others? Also is the new greddy type RS a new BOV? what happened to the old type-S? Does it recirculate?
I was wondering what upper intercooler pipe are you using? How is the fitment joining the Hahn FMIC exit pipe, did it line up at all or have to do some adapting?
a few questions about picking the proper smog legal parts:1) K&N FIPK for 2G-T cars are carb excempt. Do you get a sticker with the CARB number with it? If you have to show an officier, how do you explain that this giant filter is legal?2) Do I have to paint a FMIC black or not...

The prothanes is good. No wheel hop in most cases.only down sides aresomething is vibrating/rubbing making a squealing sound at idle (not saying they all do this but it could happen on your car too)The idle might be shaky but I bump my idle up to 900 it feels very decent. 750 is...
Yes it can be done, 3" above axle.I have mine done at a custom exhaust place. The clearance is very tight though, so custom stiff mount points were added to make sure nothing hits the chassis.
I am about to get some sparco torinos used, just the seats. Am I supposed to get some bolts with it? Just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything. Then has anyone got the "seat base" from sparco for the 2Gs, this plus the slider is what I need to bolt in a 2G?Does the seat bese...
Don't do it, they are not meant for that kind of heat.
They release corrosive gas at higher temperature.People use it for the intake pipe and that's marginally acceptable, but IC pipe is definitely not a good idea.
It might have to do with my recent problem with their SS line.. Mine leaked and I talked to FP and I am currently sending it back for them to inspect. I exchanged it for the blue hose and it works really great. The SS is just a PITA if you have a leak, since you have no idea where it's...
I got rid of my greddy FMIC and changed to a side to side + short route piping, must have saved like 6 feet of piping at least. Now pipe goes out the throttle body and go almost straight down to where the overflow bottle was, much cleaner looking, instead of the S bends all around the fuse...
