Nothing really. It clicks, the radiator fans come on that’s it. Literally everything else electrical on the car works though. Headlights/taillights, ac/heat, the inside light, horn, turn signals. But for some reason it won’t start
so I’ve been trying to get my car started for a while. It’s definitely having electrical issues. I just heard someone say that these cars need the factory radio to start. Is this true? Because my radio was stolen before I got the car. Could this be the problem? Please help this is my first car.
What do you mean by "adjust the master cylinder"? I just attached it to the pedal, bolted it on, and attached the line to it. Sorry this is my first car and I'm a noob. and yes it does move back more when I take the slave off
So when I got my car it didn't have pressure in the clutch pedal at all. I didn't know what the problem was, but then shortly after I discovered the problem I found out it had a hydraulic clutch system. So I figured it was the slave or master cylinder for the clutch. I replaced the master and...
The threads are correct. The reason I said something about the flow diameter is because the inverted flare fits and threads in, but the male flare is to big to even fit in the end of the line. The threads are right but because of the size of the flow diameter the male flare is bigger than the...
The thread size is correct and the inverted flare fits in the line, but the male flare is to large to even fit in the end of the line. I think if I get one with a smaller flow diameter it will fix that problem.
I currently don't know where my phone is so I cant take pictures right now. The master cylinder came with a double flare AN fitting. So I just need one for the slave. The slave needs EXACTLY what the master cylinder came with. It was a 10x1.00 thread one flare male and the other female. The...
You had to use the the double flare AN fitting too right? If you used the same clutch line as me, which i'm pretty sure you said you did, I need the same one you used for your line. What type of double flare fitting did you need? It would be exactly what I need. I didn't see a size or anything...
Ok so i got it. I was putting every thing on and everything is right on the adapter you sent accept the male flare (the one that's pointed out, I think that's what it's called) is too big. At firstThe male flare the one that's pointed out is too big. At first I noticed that the inside of the...
So this line works kinda...it connects to the master cylinder, but doesnt connect to the slave without one of these bad boys. On the 420a that is. 4g63 could be different. So the real question is, where the hell can I get one LOL. I can't find them anywhere. I checked just about every local...
This is my first car. I worked at a mechanics shop for a while a few years back, but other than that I don't have much experience. I know you guys are right. I'm just impatient. Cars have been my life since I was little. Getting this car was like a dream come true. I mean come on, an eclipse...
What about cams? I know its expensive, but how hard is it to get better cams and install them? also what's the difference between stage 1, 2, and 3 cams?
I want to buy a gs-t but i'm having a really hard finding one for sale near me. So I'll probably stick with the RS and daily it maybe do a couple upgrades but not much.
Yeah I was actually considering that in the future. How much psi do you think that engine can handle? ive heard they cant hold much, but I mean somethns better than nothn LOL
The plan for my 2g is a fun daily. I want to go full bolt-on nothing more. So do you guys have any brands that you prefer or really recommend like exhaust, intake, headers, intake manifold, exc.
It doesn't need a clutch. just a master and slave cylinder as far as I know. The clutch pedal has no feel. Is there anyway I can get to this clutch safety switch and turn it off so I can try to start it. Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions I'm a noob.
So the clutch doesn't have to be engaged when you start it? Because I got a new battery and tried to start it and I just get nothing. No starter nothing. The only thing that happens the radiator fan comes on for some reason.
interesting... What kind of honda did you get the line from, because I want to make sure it fits. This is my first car and I'm learning as I go along. Thanks for your help!
So I am having a really hard time finding a clutch line for my 420a eclipse. Specifically the hardline that runs from the master cylinder to that hose in the middle and the one that runs from the hose to the slave cylinder. My question is can you use lines from a 4g63 engine for my 420a...
So here's the deal. I recently purchased a 1996 eclipse RS for $300. Someone broke out the window and stole the radio. The seats are rusted from the inside and water soaked the carpet and ruined it. I don't know if the engine runs because the clutch wont engage because of a master/slave...
