I think you're on the right track... is this the one you're speaking of? There's a couple more plugs that aren't connected to anything, I found out this motor was swapped in from a 93 eclipse gs.
This is in my 1g I don't have anyway to get a log. I can't get the codes read until I order an obd1 scan tool, o'Reillys, auto zone and advanced auto parts don't have 1 to test with. No o2 sensor issues they're both new...
So in neutral or in gear my 1g will not or struggles to rev past 5k, it is a 5speed manual. I have included a video so you can see what I mean in the video it's a neutral rev. Check engine comes on off the throttle but will turn off if I rev a little.
I mean I've been daily driving a 95 n/a Volvo 850 wagon and that thing had more get up and go... which that thing was a turd I know a non turbo talon is faster than that. My Volvo kept up basically even in a 2002 dodge with the v6, the Talon cannot keep up at all.

Hello I picked up a 91 talon n/t 2.0L. It has sat for about a year before the guy I got it from replaced the brake booster, new clutch,new oil sensors and pump, new master slave, new brakes and maybe a new timing belt fairly recent? What is your guy's opinion?

Do you have any info on the 2g? For the forward clutches i need the sequence. When i pulled my trans apart it had 7 clutch discs which definitely is not correct.
Hard to say its been sitting for a few months... Me and my buddy are going to finish installing the trans and got two new axels were also putting in. I suppose after its running again ill find out thats just what he said.

Fixed some wiring issues that caused the radio and the alternator to not function. Discovered tons of sketchy wiring and some old/cracked vacuum lines, still needs trans work but for $400 its looking better and better.
