I'd almost guarantee your oil pan is dented under the sender. I remember having this issue and being told it was because of idle and my oil pan ended up being dented. Check that out. I've got my car to idle at 500 without any of this happening.

Car is back together. Previous owner had 2 of those huge washers on the harmonic balancer bolt which we believe caused it to come off. Runs good after new valves.

Has anyone just had the harmonic balancer bolt just fly out? My washer remained however the bolt flew out while driving and assuming I've kissed valves. Just curious if anyone has had this happen and how to prevent it a second time.

Problem fixed, fuel pump was halfway dead. Replaced pump and strainer and it is good to go.

Cylinder 3 was the lowest at around 126, however they averaged out to about 133 or so.

I plan on fixing all of the small issues; however, my main concern is getting it started.

Ive done a many boost leak tests. And compression tests. I doubt my compression would be good if we had bent a valve. We have also had the car running for a bit.

Yeah, it was like a burst if air and it quit. The timing was off 1 tooth; however, compression is good, we are pretty sure the engine is solid. We got a new belt and retimed it.

You are missing the fact that it would not stay running. It would shut off with the pump hardwired. It was not constant.

Okay, lets say I wire this, why would the car not run correctly with the fuel pump hardwired? Logically if that wont work neither will a rewire. You should be able to hardwire the pump and have it still work and the car would run normally.

There will never be a 12v signal because nothing happens when the key is turned on the fuel pump circuit. That 12v cant be sent without the ground. When I pin the fuel pump relay there is only 12 volts if I stick a ground in the white/red wire hole. Maybe I am missing something. I did the entire...

Can't really get 12volts at the pump unless I am grounding it myself because the ecu wont complete the circuit.
