The 1GB I put the aforementioned clutch assembly in (my profile pic) had a laundry list of clutch engagement issues, I essentially had no pedal. I had to do a lot of things to finally resolve the engagement issues such as the modified clutch assembly, new master, new slave, new fork, and shimmed...
I appreciate the mention @We're on Boost! Unfortunately I've been out the DSM game for a couple years, and no longer have the capability to manufacture the bushings. @turtleb00st got your message, best of luck in your endeavorsJust a thought: you could take an angle grinder to the welds to...
Price set firm at $800 for the intake manifold and throttle body together, with all sensors. All in great condition, s90 is basically new. Buyer pays shipping and PayPal fees, thanks.
The long body is from an auto 2g. I THINK a manual 2g sensor is necessary since it has a shorter end shaft at the gear. I’m about to do this myself. Refer to pics
You can run a 2g tps on a 91-94 with no harness modification. Also the throttle stop switch is not needed on AEM. I leave mine disconnected with no difference.
I’ve talked to a few guys over at Ostar Motorsports & they all swear by it for their cars, I just made the switch. Was told to set the belt tension based at high rpm & to just use a paint marker to ensure the bolt doesn’t move and keep an eye on it from time to time. Could probably use a lock...
These bronze bushings replace all 5 of the junk plastic bushings in the entire 1G clutch pedal assembly from left to right. This kit is to be used in junction with a welded clutch arm/lever, allowing you to have the peace of mind and to never have to pull your assembly again (amen). The bronze...
I have spent days trying to source the sizes of the crossmember bolts on all three beams, not to mention absolutely no luck from the dealer. Today I came across all of the bolt measurements on accident and I wanted to put them all here so you all don't have to go through what I went through to...
galant alternator ftw. 90a direct bolt on no modification necessary. great for if you have extra draw in your system. make sure you go to napa for it too don't get sucked into the advanced auto etc units
he actually holds some truth to his attempt. i got my car to start with hks 272s fic 1150s etc on a stock ecu before putting in my aem. was actually drivable as well, although couldn't get it past 2500rpm without hiccups. the reason why it's so rich when you start it with the gas depresses is...
asking the best turbo for a 2g is like asking what the best food is to cure your hunger.we need to know you budget, hp goals, etc. also for consideration is your supporting mods, resources, etc. such an open ended question pal
you're asking an opinionated question. people can tell you great things and negative things of each engine all day long, it boils down to preference in what you want to run
what is this narrative that has been instilled that makes people afraid of 7-bolts? it doesn't make sense to me. doing a 6 bolt swap is not a walk in the park either; you also have to consider the monetary factor of doing the swap and consider your budget in deciding to rebuild your 7 vs...
you don't necessarily even need chains. shoot i pulled my whole motor and tranny just with strategically wrapped tow straps and my hoist. as long as you make crosses to get the best support and can make a secure knot (if necessary), it will come out just fine
i would also verify your base timing is at 5 degrees if you haven't already. i bought my 6 bolt swap about 15 degrees advanced at base with a wild tune and my idle was horrible
