What does deleting the lines do? Other than the obvious of course. The throttle body wouldn't become too hot? Why are they there then if the temps wouldn't climb too high?And would deleting the lines on the tb and also utilizing both thermal gaskets be of any sort of benefit?

I'm currently in the middle of a 2.3 build as well, will revving to 7200rpms with 27psi of boost on pump gas be ok? Also, how do I set the rev lilit? I have dsmlink v3 but when I was running the 2.0 my limit was set to 8000rpms

I mean in all honesty I don't need to reach a specific boost goal per se if I could manage to reach my goal or close to it with less boost, I'm just curious as to whether or not my build set up would hold up reliably if I did manage to do so without knocking like crazy

Remember too, the bigger turbo you decide to go, the more lag you'll have trying to spool it. Maybe throw a stroker in there if you're trying to get a larger size turbo? It should help you spool up faster
