Its not tuned for one thing..my friend couldnt get it running so i bought it. previous owner before him had it as a show car..so they installed a fmic and a half wired greddy emanage.
My plans are to pull the motor, drop a full rotating assembly, head stud, main stud(maybe), bigger injectors...
um, 1st pass 15.2 at 95 2nd 16.5 at 85 missed 2nd gear:banghead: 3rd pass they officials turned off the printer and or timing system...if I had to guess on a time it would have been high 14sno i do not have a facebook for right now.
It was her maiden voyage at the track. I wanted to see what she would run at the track..before I pop her cherry and tear the motor apart. I ran 3 times and the 3rd time felt like it was faster than the first 2, only thing that sucked is that they cut off the timing my 3rd run... so I was not...
Yes, I know there will be someone who says what is my goal.Goal: Have the cleanest and Fastest and reliable DSM in San Antonio.I have recent came across some money, and have now the fund do invest some money in to my 2g. I will be updating my profile here soon. I just bought the fuel pump...
Had the car in the shop for the last 6...but yes.On my other post I had the mbc installed incorrectly...So it was a number of things that was wrong from me and the po.
Time to update...So, everyone tellin me that I was running lean was 100% right. I was hitting fuel cut @4k rpm at 25lbs...stock fuel system and injectors...Its now time to upgrade my car...
So, thought it was time to do an update. The turbo 's mbc was installed correctly the first time..so ideally I was running infinite boost. The emange is fully wired in, but not able to communicate with it. Might just use it as a unversal air flow controller as I can use it that way for now. I...
Unfortunately there is only one shop in as that has a awd dyno and they only mess with subi, gtr, and evo, and evo swap tuning...I've asked them if I could being my own tuner and they shot it down.So pretty much its a no to dyno my gsx in fwd form with out a welded diff or a coupler.Plus I...
So, I have a friend that own his own shop with a fwd/rwd-Dynocom Dyno. He is planning on getting the AWD attachment by the beginning of the year, but long story short. Is is ok to drop the rear driveshaft to dyno/tune my GSX on the dyno with no issues?
It may be old, but there may be some good information for you to consider....and @Vegas smith does now what he is talking about. He has helped out a lot with me in some things with mine.
IMO, I would take it back to them to have the work re done. IMO it shouldn't have that issue if they did the sealant....also I'm no professional at painting a car but I don't think it should rust up if they pulled the glass and trim out.
So as the title states my turn signals don't work over 2500rpms....I have read the 4 articles that kinda brought up the same problem, but I believe everything is ground. I didn't have any of theses issues before my crank position sensor went out. What could be going on. Haven't had a chance to...
Wont let me post a mp4 videos..sorry..gotta figure out a different way. Its hard to explain.I can't do any driving unfortunately due to it not being insured or registered. Let me take it off and see what it does.
I reversed the controller, it now boosts over 15psi in 2nd gear at 4k rpm.Had a small boost leak at a intercooler pipe...fixed it as well. Just gotta figure out this noise.
Again look at www.energysuspensionparts.com put the year make and model and it will bring up the kit for your vehicle....go a little further than what I showed you, and you will be directed in the way you need to go.
They are the motor mounts (left and right) also includes the torque mounts (front and rear). The only down fall that I don't like is that the torque mounts are inserts. That is what I have noticed at just idle. Haven't had a chance to drive it...but I will take your advice tho for sure pauleyman
I didn't think of doing it that way, I used a ball joint press and a air hammer, that is the typical way I do any suspension bushing at work. I should have checked here first for a easier way.
http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/131901Here is the direct link to the motor mounts and torque mounts. Ebay doesn't offer a lifetime warranty...so imo i would go with these guys. And to top it off they are located in Texas
This kit was for my 2g. I bought the suspension, torque, and motor mounts. Install was a little long due to not having a press, and this was for the suspension. The motor mounts were cut in half for install. But, so far so good...haven't had a chance to drive it yet with the kit installed. I...
:ohdamn: missed that part of the message... busy day at work...I will have to agree on the miss fire...i would check ignition/mechanical timing. Also, try to loom your spark plug wires. That will also cause interfernce issues.
There is actually a thread that I started yesterday, and we are covering almost the same questions.http://www.dsmtuners.com/posts/153654314/its the merged turbo one.
That is an older picture before I installed the mbc. But I have a nipple in the j pipe welded in connected to the inlet and then the outlet ran to the waste gate vacuum line.I would like to use what I have now till I have problems. But I have wanted to go to something simpler, and I don't...
