So do you really have to rewire this to run differently you can't just replace the fuel relay? I do a lot of stuff myself on my cars but I'm not brave enough to mess with wiring. I'm taking it to a trusted mechanic friend of mine hopefully in the morning, but I will keep this in mind....thank you
ok smarty what am i looking for when i take the screws off? I will have you know me and my wife replaced this transmission on our own so we are not stupid, but sensors and the ecu is kind of serious you know.
Hey guys i need help. My car has been idling really rough, sometimes chugging/choking when driving, and dumping fuel bad. I have fixed several engine light codes already. I changed the MAF sensor, the throttle position sensor, both O2 sensors, and i just keep getting codes. I can't find a vacuum...
My brake lights turn signals and hazard lights won't work on the car. Everytime I try to hazard lights or the right turn signal I blow a fuse under the dash and one under the hood. The one fuse is for the turn lamps the other one the taillights. Does it make a difference which size bulbs are in...
I see the ball thing you're talking about but it's rusted out on my car I can't even figure out how to get it off. I have pulled out with pliers stuck a screwdriver under it tried to get the nut off the back of it it will not come out. You say it comes off how it pops off? What do you mean I...
Okay here's what I'm looking at I took the top two bolts out where you see the holes in the bottom bolt out the other picture you see the other empty hole under the wires. I can't figure out where the window ball socket thing is this if I have in the other two pictures? I have tried this thing...
Well I'm out here fighting to get a busted glass out of my car so I can put the new glass in it and I cannot tell what the hell you're talking about. What's the window socket ball I can't find that to save my life I've got the three bolts out the thing is loose but It won't pull out
I have a 99 Eclipse Spyder non turbo and I absolutely love it!! Yeah it's a little hard to find parts for even just interior parts but it has a good strong engine runs great! I haven't had the problems with the engine on this car like I have had on the 420a's and I've had 3 of those. I'm reading...
Yep 3m panel bonding adhesive. I have glued on several body kits with this it will need to set up overnight you need to clamp it down around the car. Then I would take some fiberglass and mold that all together.
The code O'Reilly pulled was for bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor. The part number you gave me is 13460 BOS. Apparently you are right this is a sensor by my manifold. Probably the reason it's idling rough sometimes but not all the time. If this is the O2 sensor that's bad why did the other mechanic...
Well after my new exhaust and new Catalytic converter putting on the car I didn't have the money to do the O2, I haven't done it yet. My gas mileage seems to be ok and my car seems to be running good. Sometimes when it's idling it acts like it's going to run rough. My engine light is still on...
I'm going to have that O2 sensor replaced tomorrow I was told my map sensor may be bad. Today I was driving my car on the highway and it started shaking real bad underneath the car and almost broke down on me. It starts chugging and sounded real rough like it's going to die on the street. It's...
Put that sensor being bad make my car choke not want to run right when it's idling. It started talking and acting like that when I drove it in the driveway tonight I'm afraid what's going on with it. I saw all these sensors on eBay but I can't figure out which one it is the mechanic just said...
I took it to a shop when I put my catalytic converter and my new cap back on the car he says my belts are loose but I don't know how to tell myself I can't get the alternator to know if it's the alternator belt the belt above it feels a little loose but a friend put it on for me. I will take a...
I went to the mechanic shop have my cat back exhaust put on and my catalytic converter replaced cost a lot of money, but he says my bank 1 sensor 1 sensor has to be replaced. My car is chugging and choking when it idles too long any ideas what's going on is this oxygen sensor doing it?
My belts used to squeal really bad then I'll replace the alternator belt and the one under it. Power steering belt? I don't know I'm learning this stuff so help. It's still squeals for a second when you start it up but now there's some kind of constant noise over by the belts. Not a squeaky...
I have a 99 Spyder GS automatic my engine light just came on at 150,000 miles. O'Reilly says it's Bank 1 any ideas what this could be? Is this going to be an O2 sensor? Help guys
