I have a 96 gst. Its auto. Motor is toast. So i plan on rebuilding it. But i want to put my eclipse back on the road while im building a nice motor. I would like some direction on finding a used motor. Local junkyards dont have this engine. So any help would be appreciated. And also, i plan on...
I tried and the broken stud didnt want to budge. And i didnt want to risk snapping it flush with the block. I thought about trying to weld on a nut and turn it that way but i dont want to damage the block

Can any of the parts for instance clutch pedal brake pedal air shifter be used from a non turbo set up or does it all have to come from a turbo car? I don't mean like the computer obviously that's from a turbo car
I know its an old post, but i had one back in 2004. Bought mine from chaser aero in maryland. It was a real pain to mold on. But theyre still selling it today. I believe it cost me 1500 for the whole kit. No shipping cuz i went and picked it up
Hello. I have a 96 gst spyder that is currently automatic. I want to convert this to 5 speed. I know of some things that needs changed like gauge cluster, shifter, clutch pedal. Do i need to change my cars cpu and wiring harness?
Thanks for the quick reply. I was planning on running an hx35 so i got myself familiar with what i was going to need to do. Sounds like this setup is somewhat the same on building it. Curious as to the power i will be putting out.
