    L19's are a must once you cross that line into insanity. We (LSE) ended up doing extensive ARP and headstud research on the 3s platform. Eventually the studs just yield, thankfully the L19 are a great solution.

    Fuel cut is based on airflow. Without knowing your airflow (hertz) a valid answer can not be given. I've seen cars add 25% airflow and not cut, and I've seen cars cut with fuel taken out.     .05 is the lowest it should go I believe (maybe .02) since the datalogger does read some percentage (8-10 percent) i believe, unless its a program error in the logger or a really bad connection.

    im not 100 percent sure, but wot (100%) makes a huge difference from (99%) (closed loop versus open loop)..and that can drastically affect how the car runs... or so i've heard.

    ahh another minnesota member...elite is a good place to start out asking questions, their are some knowledgeable people working at that place. I would personally recommend an afc for a beginner. Start out small with your 2g, upic, exhaust, intake. Also, the afc has alot more 'user' support...

    testpipe, boost controller and gauge, and K&N yeilded me a [email protected] and [email protected] on a '93 awd, 7/8 tank of gas, full weight, minus rear seat..bald tires, slipping clutch, and 95 degrees out. want 13's? learn to drive the piss out of it :).

    well it depends what you call 'alot of boost', to me 22psi on pump gas is approaching 'alot of boost' for that particular setup. I personally am going 8.5:1, but thats cause im 'mild' and like to be in the middle :).

    you could always be like the local hondas and have a fmic and not have it hooked up (i was appalled first time i saw this). I personally would do about 1 million things to a stock car with a boost gauge before i spent the money for a fmic..but to each its own.

    maf runs off hertz..you will have serious miscount if it is located within a pressurized system. If you are looking to move your airflow sensor, either go with a speed-density setup, hotwire, vpc/gcc or afc combo, or just leave well enough alone.

    14.1@94 <--1g with intake and 14psi, no cat. (also really hot out and 7/8 tank of gas) 1.8 60' time with bald tires/slipping clutch. its all in the 60'. That was my 1st time to the track. Nice times for the first time out, just work on that 60' time.
