I've had the eBay cheapies on for about a year now and it still looks as new as the day I put it on...no complaints whatsover. Couple friends also have put them on their cars (non-dsms) and I haven't heard a single complaint about them. If it really makes you feel better to spend 5x as much...
A test pipe is just a straight piece of pipe that replaces your catalytic converter. To install it all you have to do is unbolt your cat (4 bolts), and replace it with the test pipe. Takes about 10 minutes. Just don't expect to pass emissions testing with it on if your state does that. Check...
To you guys in the Air Force...I'm thinking about joining....thinking about being in Combat Control. Anyone have any suggestions or advice...what I can expect and stuff like that? Thanks...-John
Say what??? I've seen a stock GST run a 14.8 at the track before...And I'm pretty sure a 50-75 shot of nitrous with a couple other minor bolt-ons would easily get you into the 13's.
For real...I've got two brackets on my driver's side that have bent completley in half...pieces of shit. Anyone know what kind of money I can expect to pay to repair/replace them???
Personally, I would use a camber kit on any drop in excess of 1". Factory camber just isn't that adjustable, so an alignment alone can only do so much. IMO, it's alot cheaper to buy a $100 camber kit than a $4-600 set of tires.
Barely any mods??? There's not a whole lot more you can do to an N/A other than building the engine. And .4-.5 second's is a BIG difference in the 1/4.
To hook up an xbox/gamecube/ps2/whatever you will need 2 things....an FM modulator and a power converter. The FM modulator allows you to run the audio signal through the antenna on your HU...thus giving you full audio control of your device through your HU. The power converter allows your...
For something that shoots balls of paint, the amount of technology and money in some of these guns is hilarious. I bought a PMI package about a year ago and I think I've used it a total of 2 times...if anyone is interested in buying it, hit me up.
Do a search on eBay motors for a "eclipse turbo intake." You should find a whole bunch of MAS adapter w/ cone filter kits ...they run about $20-$30 shipped.
What I would do if I were you is take what you would spend on the rear speakers and add that to what you already planned on putting into the fronts...this way you can get something a little better. Your stock rear speakers should be fine, especially running off an aftermarket HU. Front stage...
DIN is the measurement of the dash opening for a cd player.Best bang for the buck would probably be Infinty speakers, even the Reference series is better than most in the same price range. As far as HU's, invest in a decent one because that is what your system can grow off of. You can...
I'm sorry bro, but there's just no way I can believe that. I've yet to see a manual n/a dsm run mid to low 15's, let alone an automatic. I just can't see it possible. I myself have an automatic and I'd be lucky to be runing 16's...but more than likely 17's. Either you're bs'ing or you've...
Those are versions of the song that the artist's label puts out to screw those of us who choose not to pay for our music. Kinda like booby-traps. You'll find that alot of this takes place with certain current popular songs that have just been or yet to have been released. There's really...
IMO, it depends on if your state has emissions testing. If you do, and don't want to have to wory about putting your catalytic converter back on each time, I would say go with a hi-flow cat. But if your state doesn't, or you have a way around it, I would say go with the test pipe. I've had...
Turboing your car would be waaaaaay cheaper than producing the same numbers all motor. Especially being you have a 4g63 and you can simply put together a turbo kit with used parts.
The sad part is that I can't even get $11k for MY car, and it's a convertible with 35k less miles...not to mention looks better, imo. Yet, that guy has 12 bids and hasn't even reached reserve.....
Yeah, as a result of the movie making the car more popular with the general public it also increased their value by a few grand. Before that movie came out, I saw Supras going for $10-15k all day long....now, they're selling for like $20-$35k....outrageous for a used Toyota if you ask me.
Something is wrong here. I've personally never seen a stock n/a dsm run better than mid 16's-low 17's. Infact, running a 15.6 stock would almost put you in the same boat as a stock GST....
Actually batteries don't make a difference in the world with your stereo unless you plan on playing it with your car not running (off). Your car's electrical system primarily pulls from the alternator once your car is on. If you're looking for more juice for your amps, then you need to look...
LOL:laugh: "just overlayed some fiberglass and carbon fiber over it"....you make it sound so simple. You obviously haven't done much work with fiberglass or carbon fiber have you..... Come on dude, even if it's not your style...give credit where it's due, atleast for the time...
For a show car, that interior is top-notch. Judging from the comments, I'm guessing few of you know what it takes to do a full custom fiberglass and carbon fiber interior....
So true. I started out with 40's and have since changed to 45's because they not only look better but also ride alot smoother. I have 17x7 rims and I'm using 215/45/17 tires. They look and work great. As far as putting 17's on a 1.8...come on. Tons of people have done this and you...
The Rudora sides have to be my favorite skirts...but I don't know how well they would go with the stock front. There's a guy (Shuwa) on here with Blitz sides (I believe), Combat rear, and stock front with lip....IMO, it all flows very well.
Don't those Apexi N1's go for around $150+??? That deal doesn't sound too even...it only costs about $50 to have a muffler welded on around here. But Magnaflow makes nice mufflers. I've heard a few and they sound pretty sweet.
