not even similar flow rating as the gt35just a turbo with around the 450-550 awhp range that's reliable etc and would go well with the rest of my build.

The wires being small to long might help (has helped me in the past ) with distance to the cylinder from the coil.But the firing 4123 the pic on the left is how ive always done it. My coil pack still has the original numbers to help.
You could do a 4gcs swap.But a 4g63 should not even cost you close to that. You can find knes that run for less than 1000 if you keep a look out and you are patient.
Depebding on how much you want to spend. And weather or not you have a spare block head etc..Other than that millar import and just keep your eyes open on the classifieds.But i think you should have them actually rebuild the head. There is no reason it should do that.
Ive driven a gt35r for a daily driver and ive always had good luck with my my room matw drive a gt30 for his. We have about the same spool time though because mimy build is geared towards spooling faster.
I believe he had a early 90s vette and used the sbc engine (lt1) he then ran in to the fine. Haha. I think any boat engine can go intona car but there are specific parts you need to make the engine you take from a car and put in a boat.
I actually had a 2g awd dp that i cut and welded a new flange to use a cat on my 1g. XD. I dont recommend that but i got the down pipe for free so it was a no brainer.

From my understanding there are several different flanges for a 20g. You would obviously need the dsm flanged one if you want to bolt on.I would contact justin he does fantastic work and knows more about turbos than most on the form.
On of the connectors could have been loose not getting the full current. Ive had a fuse half way in before and had intermittent results. Could have been a cause.
