The clutch feels fine, supposed to be an exedy clutch, still stock feel though, abd idk about the timing, but it ran as a daily till it stopped sui I couldn't see it getting out of timing

I had removed a spectre air filter that was held on by a rusted old coat hanger and a greddy blow off that was missing the adjustment screw. On top of that it has some rusted RoadRace intercooler piping run to the stock intercooler and half the bolts are missing from the crossmember lol

This cars miles are at 182k abd the previous owner didn't know anything about maintenance, when I got it, it had barely a quart of oil and the same could be said about the coolant level. Everything about the car was done wrong so to be honest I am catching up with this one.

Yes, finally got to it today drained the oil to pull the pan and decided to try to turn the crank again, and it's not moving at all now :/ this car just wants a new motor for sure

Hey Wing3r09, thanks, yes I am planning a holset 35hx, aiming to get around 550 awhp but for now I will be doing a 6 bolt swap as my crank decided to walk. So I'll be going from there, and doing as much suspension work as I can in the mean time.

Ya I used a torque wrench and it didn't have really any resistance, so I am going to pull the oil pan to see for sure, but there isn't any play on the pulley it feels pretty stable.

Well, a friend of mine who it's a dsm veteran out here said that the fact that it's so easy to move my crank is probably because of crank walk causing no compression, so looks like I will be pulling the oil pan off to make 100% sure it's not crank walk :/

Thanks, ya I'm pretty confidant on wiring, but I got the intake manifold out and checked all wires, my knock sensor was the only damaged wires in the engine bay. But I'm in the same boat with the FP Manifold, once I get mine running I will be shopping for one as well.

Not so far, went to the furious 7 premier. Just working on it now pulling the intake mani to check wires around the spot where the rat decided to call home. Going to check out the starter connection and try what inthemidst suggested with a direct route wire and see what I can get done tonight

A buddy of mine came and had me put the car in 5th gear and try to push it. He said the motor is seized because we couldn't push the car backwards down the driveway, I guess in fifth gear it's such a small gear ratio that it should be able to move that way... what do you guys think?

Btw yes the battery terminal get hot fast just from attempting to start it

I had checked the timing belt prior to trying to start it, I see no issues with it, but I forgot to mention that when I turn the key to start I get a little wisp of smoke from the positive battery terminal
