How can you tell if a 2g t-case is from 95-96 or a 97-99 car? Is there an easy way to ID it?

There is only one RH C2 rim available and it is the 1 pc. C2 EVO. The older C2's that were 3 pc. rims are now discontinued so there is nothing to worry about man. You may want to check locally though and see if they will match the price.Mario

Forget about the HKS Hiper exhaust for a GST since the piping is only 65mm, get a A`PEXi N1 or a Tanabe Racing Medalion. Also to be honest the only thing I agree with on your list is the FP Green... You need to do some more research.Mario

You also need to have the comp. housing machined for clearance. Your better off selling your 14b and buying a used 16g.Mario

A properly built 6 bolt g64b will rev to 8500 no problem. I would advise against just putting the 64 crank in a 63 block though if your going to do it do it right and just rebuild a 6 bolt g64b shortblock.Mario

I think the Z3 fenders will be too much I'd just pick up some fiberglass fenders from Magnus M.S. if yours need to be replaced. Have you seen the new Buddy Club 2 kit?Mario

They are 6x9's but if you buy aftermarket 6x9's you will have to make some minor modifications to get them to fit due to the bigger magnet etc.Mario

I have them and they are really nice plus the fact that not everyone and their mother has them makes them even better. I paid $290 through a GB for the power ones which isn't really that bad. They required very little prep work to install and the quality is top notch compared to the other...

The 1g trannies are stronger but if you want to use a 2g get the AWD tranny with a spool to replace the center diff so you can run it in FWD. You want the AWD tranny cause there are more mods available, check out TRE also. Oh and the motor is on the drivers side for 1g's and 2g's.Mario

You could also try the BG syncroshift or Redline fluids.Mario

They also make a 16lb (stock is around 19lb) steel one for those interested in a SFI approved lightened flywheel that will not make launching harder or inconsistant compared to the ultra light flywheels.Mario

Since when does a Big28 carry you farther in the topend then a big16g, the main difference I was aware of was spool time and it is NOT unheard of that slower spool time helps a FWD get off the line... right? :rolleyes:Mario

Since your car is FWD i'd recommend a Big 16g since it spools a little slower then a Big28 and will allow you to get out of the hole easier.Mario

Why don't you just connect the oil and coolent lines together, remove the turbine wheel and just run it like that. No oil mess, no boosting, and no extra money spent except on fluid changes.Mario

I think you made a good choice on the turbo but def keep the 6 bolt, crowers, and ross pistons. I bet you will install them sooner then you think since that turbo can make more power then your stock bottom can handle and you'll get greedy for power who doesn't :D just my .02Mario

If a motor swap is over your head some nice bolt-ons would be the CAS, 14b, TB, BOV, and intake manifold etc.Mario

They all cost about the same so just get one you like the best, i'd suggest a TXS RFL, Tial, or an HKS if you want to vent to the atmosphere, but if you want to plumb it back into the intake go with the HKS with the recirc. kit.Mario

You can buy just the adapter from Extreme for like $30 I think, just measure your filter first to make sure it will fit on the Extreme adapter.Mario

His car is fwd and I believe he did that on street tires didn't he which is a decent time. A properly tuned AWD should have no problems running 11's with a s20g.Mario

The old school HKS Turbo exhaust is prob the quietest followed by the Greddy SP, they are both 60mm which is about 2 3/8 inch. Next get a 2.5" HF cat, 2.5" DP, 2.5" tubular O2 housing, and then a ported EVO exhaust manifold to finish off the exhaust. Hope this helps,Mario

He's talking about the MKIII intercooler Larry not the MKIV :p and from what i've heard the MKIII is junk so don't waste your money on it just save up and buy a nice FM.Mario

Yeah like I said before I wasn't sure if the turbo injectors would fit so in that case just buy the RC 550's man with the SAFC.Mario

To put it in really basic terms- if a stock 210hp dsm can run them I don't see why not and like we said look into buying a SAFC to make it run better. I'm assuming your car makes atleast 200hp right?Mario
