Sorry to bring this back but I have the same question.My cams are garbage and I'll have the chance to buy a set of VR4 cams, will they work in my 1g 6 bolt motor? Are all VR4 cams identical? Anything else I should know before doing this?

+1 I just replaced my crank pulley too, it's pricey, but it just has to be done. Mine separated and was melting/eating into the timing cover.
