Now that it's a 100 years since the beginning of this post can someone give me a solid max flow rate of a
Turbo labs TD06 20g SL2 with a billet wheel on 7cm hotside. Im currently running an evo3 turned all the way up and I'm looking for a little more mph
I found a caliper that may have been the issue the whole time, but I have one more question about matching gears. If I have all 4 wheels off the ground and in neutral should I be able to feel a mismatched gear spinning the wheels by hand?
Resurrecting this from awhile ago. The problem is continuing. I'm starting to worry I have mismatched great ratio somewhere. Can someone confirm that if my gear ratios we're mismatched it would constantly be binding?
Peaks around 34 and falls off to 24ish by redline. I'm also having trouble getting my airflow back to where it was before. I can't argue with the result though.
It's a genuine mhi evo 3, it does have a fp 8cm hotside but the wheels are stock. I have a shitty ramhorn manilfold right now that is quite Abit smaller then my ported head.
Yes I've searched and searched but I have yet to find what I'm looking for. My rear diff broke the mounts at the track on Friday, in doing so it ripped both in cv's apart. So I need lsd rear axles or at bare minimum inner CV joint rebuild. Are there any other options like using parts off...
I just shredded my rear diff case, I have a auto one out of the same year, are the cases physically the same? Will the manual internals fit in the auto diff case?
I'm aware of binding while turning, this is happening while the wheel is straight. I also considered a caliper, but I can't seem to replicate the problem while the car is up on stands. I actually hope it is a caliper and not in the drive train.
I have 2g with what I believe is matching tranny and xcase( I have to confirm). The car has a fidanza aluminum fly wheel, act 2900 PP,6 puck sprung clutch, and a welded center diff. Everything was gone through recently and should be in good mechanical shape. There are no noises or vibration...
So I took my car to a local shop to get some Tig welding and fabrication work done. I fabbed the intake and he built the uicp from scratch. While we were there we installed a new tial bov. On a side note my crushed 1g bov held 35 psi which is ridiculous. So these along with some other...
Thanks again guys, the car is working well, after looking at the logs everything looks good so we are going to attempt to turn it up a little more and shoot for 10s soon. I probably need a couple weeks to get some little stuff sorted out and then we are gonna let her eat.
well i unplugged it and blocked the port, with out getting a code, but i havent really driven it around yet. i noticed in ecmlink there is a spot to lock the mdp input. i'm assuming that only needs to be clicked if i'm using the mdp ecu input for something else?
The previous owner welded a bung on the 1g intake manifold for the 2g map sensor. I'm now running speed density with a gm Omni 4 bar, does the 2g map still need to be connected?
It's a crazy world now a days. I don't know for a fact what it will be running, but last year it went 12.0 on pump and MasterCrafts snow tires, trapping 115. This year it's on e and slicks. The seat of my pants say 11.3ish
I'm running the 11.5 index this weekend for the first time, it's a 5 speed car that I will probably have to turn the boost down a bit. It's an ifo event, so the cars I'm racing against probably won't be bracket cars and if I had to geuss their times will not be super consistent. Also first...
First off I think that work looks excellent, and I would to talk to you more about that staging brake. I do on the other hand disagree with that statement to some extent. First I think you are in trouble in a crash that severe without a cage no matter what, second I believe by only running a 4...
I can give you the same answer everyone else will. Maintenance first, then dsmlink, a crushed 1g bov would work. And a e316g would get you there. You will also need a rewired 255 and some injectors, probably 750s would plenty for pump. Condensed version but it's the basics.
Good subject, we recently had a really awesome road track open up near me, I was wondering about oil starvation? Is it an issue with our car in high speed corners?
I use a scg-1 to read vacuum, I'm running BC 272s, the compression, blt, and vacuum lines are all 100%, and I only get -12ish. I have the idle turned up to 950, I just where it seems most comfortable.
