Thanks for the suggestion but STM is a bunch of jokesters in my book. They were the first place I went and claimed they werent doing any mechanical work due to "covid". They'll never have my business.
I have a mostly stock 2g and I want to get an HY35 installed. Unfortunately I do not have a garage anymore or the skills to do the upgrades. Does anyone know of a reputable shop in the Philadelphia region that could do the work ? Im near Quakertown, PA more specifically.
I installed my LC-2 about 3 months ago and it was working well after the initial calibration and setup. I drove the car briefly today and the gauge was fine until I sat with my key in accessory with the radio on for a bit and noticed it was pinned at 22.3 I started it again and it stays at 22.3...
Here is a log from today, I saw the coolant temp go up to 203 and still no fans. After installing my lc2 see the car is also running very lean at idle. Any ideas ?
As the title states my fans only come on when I check the box in link. I waited until my coolant temp was at 210 and still nothing. They wont come on automatically. The last time I ran the car was a few months ago and I remembered them working automatically. Does anyone have any suggestions ?
I have a 6 bolt swapped 2g that was running very well until I swapped the dashboard out and installed a new head unit. It sat for a few weeks and when I start it now it has a bad stutter/misfire and idles terribly. I doubt changing out my dash could have done this but nothing else was touched...
I'm having trouble understanding how to wire the guage and ECU input. I'm supposed to run the controllers yellow wire to the ECU pin and to the white wire on the guage? Also I am not planning on using narrowband simulation because I'm keeping my front o2. So I'm guessing I'm not using the brown...
I understand the wiring except for the gauge. I connect both the db gauge AND the Ecu input to the yellow wire on the lc-2 controller ? I am leaving brown wire go because I am leaving the front factory o2 in place and I have link.
I never bothered to wire up the reverse lights so I cant help you there. I didn't have any luck connecting those wires in the loom to get the car to start either. It just sounded like it was grounding out when I turned the key. I bypassed the starter relay instead.
So I bypassed the amp today and everything works. I feel like the sound is kinda weak though. I have an android head unit so I can probably tweak it somewhat. Did anybody else notice it sounding considerably worse without the stock amp or is it just me ?
I did an auto to manual swap over the winter and left all of those connectors you took pictures of disconnected. They are strictly for the auto trans. My car runs fine. It is a bit difficult to tuck them neatly out of sight though.
I've tested my stock head unit and an aftermarket one with the metra harness and I have no sound from my speakers at all. I've checked both fuses and speaker wiring. Could this be the stock infinity amp that went bad ? If so is it easier to bypass or replace these ?
I hooked up my head lights and tail lights and tried to test them for the first time since I owned this car (bought it as a shell). And realized that my dash lights are dimming slightly when my turn signal flashes. The car wasn't running while I tried this and Im missing the drivers side blinker...
I'm confused as to which plugs go together here. They're are at the very back near the trunk latch. I drew a red line the way I think they go together.
Thanks and as for the wideband output. Can I just solder from the controller to that white wire in the picture. Is that the same as using pin 75 at the ecu ?
Im going to be installing my wideband in the rear O2 sensor location. I have no intentions of using the factory rear O2 again so Im wondering what's the best way to route the wideband through the floor ? Should I remove the factory wire and dremel the hole big enough to push it through or should...
I've been doing some digging and cant find much info on what to expect from the FP green on pump gas. I was hoping to make at least 450 whp. Is this unrealistic for that turbo ? If so does anyone have any experience with a quick spooling turbo to meet my goal. Thanks.
Im hooking back up my tail lights and I dont understand how these connect to the tail lights. I pulled them from the junk yard last year and sure they were from an eclipse and not a talon. There are 3 slots for the bulbs and I already have the far slot of the tail lights filled with the bulbs...
I have a decent amount of OEM parts that I accumulated while doing a 6 bolt swap. Im listing prices for most of the parts seen in these pictures if you see something I didnt list message me. Im willing to ship some of the smaller parts but Im mostly looking for local pickup.2G Water Pipe -...

I had the same issue last week. I believe this will help for a 1g.https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/neutral-safety-switch-for-auto-to-5-speed-swap.464273/
That would be great. I have teamviewer installed. I will let you know tomorrow when I am by my car and we can try to mess with link. That would be a huge help.
Thanks Marty! After changing those settings in link and adjusting the MAF Comp with the values you suggested the car stayed running for a bit :D.I tried the map from your 1990 too but it didnt run quite as well as the other one. I have another log that shows what happens. Basically it starts up...
