my buddy set is at max for a little bit. His is a DD. He also used to drive a truck so he was used to it. I am not sure what he changed his setting to, or if he even did.

I don't see why you wouldn't. V8s have been doing this for years. Its just allowing the thermostat to open at a lower temperature to allow the motor to run at a cooler temp.

I haven't had any bad idle problems. My idles nicely at 800, which is where is has always idled. You can check for vaccuum leaks. A notorious spot is the intake manifold gasket right about the alternator and of course any loose or broken vaccuum lines.

There have been talks about putting a resistor and bridging the two pins with it. Some have done it with no problems but eventually the computer figures it out and you get a cel. Nothing is going to be completely permanent unless you get a tuning device.

Well considering that the thread was started back in August and was supposed to be done in a couple of months, I would say it's a bust and someone else is gonna have to do it to show everyone what it is.

If you exhaust is routed the same as the picture below, then I would say yes. Sorry for the large picture but it was the only one I could find. Don't worry about the extra stuff there just look at from the rear of the catalytic converter to the muffler.

1g and 2g is being very vague. They produced two different motor types in the 1gs, a 6bolt and a 7 bolt, then the 2gs were all 7bolts. Like willy said if you want performance go with a 6bolt(early 1g, 89-91) instead of a 7 bolt (92 and on).

For 2gs how about a way to adjust the rear camber on the bottom of the car instead of just buying some longer bolts and some washer for the top. My camber is still off bad. I believe the 1gs have some but not sure.
